Fantastic holiday with Neilsons

Just back from a week’s stay at Hotel Le Cret with Neilsons. The hotel itself is by no means luxurious, but it’s an excellent base to enjoy your skiing holiday. Food was absolutely delicious, with a great selection for breakfast and afternoon tea. The three course evening meals with free flowing wine were all amazing too. Our eight year old thoroughly enjoyed the kids club, which is handily based inside the hotel. We made good use of Neilsons free guiding sessions, which were brilliant. Staff were all extremely helpful. We’re gutted to be home, and wish we could’ve stayed another week!

Not as good as we thought for the price.

This was quite expensive. In hindsight I would rather be self catering.
Breakfast is so boring, cereal, cakes, a bit of ham & cheese. Bread pieces are so small you can’t put anything on them. The bed rocks every time one of us moves.
Quite noisy outside.
No kettle in the room or hairdryer.
However it is very pretty, very central. Lovely staff. Very clean.

Wonderful no frills chalet

Rhys and the neilson team at the chalet gave is a truly wonderful stay for my friend and I. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Food at was good, rooms were very clean, facilities were great (constant supply of fruit, tea & coffee and juice). Our only comments for improvement would be a hot tub on the patio, dinner to be served on hot plates as occasionally it was cold (but it was still delicious!) and comfier sofas in the bar area. We are also sorry to hear that the ski resort closed early and wish Rhys and the team good luck over the coming weeks with the disruption this has caused them. Anna & Kiri x

Fabulous Experience!

Just back from a week on the slopes and the Hotel, food and Neilson staff were all absolutley superb! The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a nice little bar and the food served was first class with wine included. We much prefer the style and standard of this chalet hotel to the other more 5 star, leather armchair hotels on offer, as a relaxed style of decor is more suited to clonking around in outdoor gear, rather than a feeling that you're 'taking tea at the Ritz'! So totally spot on all round, well done and thanks.

A pleasure to stay!

The overall experience was incredible. The staff were all extremely polite and helpful and made sure we settled in well. Reece the chef prepared lovely fresh food every evening which was delicious . Also olly gave us great route recommendations and made sure we knew what we were doing on the mountain. An all round great time
