Vacation in Hypitipy
Very relaxing, in the trees, cool even with the heatwave, the nights are very cool it feels very good.
It's very comfortable.
The pool of the VVF is unheated and so it takes a lot of good to cool off!
The Dordogne jutes behind , is a real haven of peace , to be enjoyed at the end of the day when everyone has left (the beaches of the Gluges are monitored in the afternoon in July August).
The VVF animations are existing but quite discreet.
The area is absolutely beautiful with so many beautiful things to see and do.
I recommend this VVF and this region for a relaxing and cheap exotic holiday.

Price/quality ratio not as expected
This VVF is an "essential" club, meaning it operates at a "minimum" level; there are several categories of VVF, which we should have known, something we were unaware of.
For the price paid here for 1 week, we could have had a modern private accommodation with all amenities (with A/C, dishwasher, washing machine) and a shared pool right by the sea in the south. Admittedly not in a club, but this VVF is not really a club, it is a rental property with a reception. There are very, very few activities, most of which cost extra, no sports sessions, no water aerobics, and the icing on the cake: the kids' club only operates for half-days!!! If we had taken the time to read the reviews here beforehand, we would not have chosen this place for our vacation.
Furthermore, like the previous reviews, I can only confirm: the accommodation is not insulated (heat/sound), super clean, very, very old-fashioned, from another era! Besides, when you arrive at the site, you wonder if this is really the place..
The amenities: a drip coffee maker (who still uses one in 2026??), no dishwasher, no AC, not even a fan, no sofa. There are not enough cooking accessories. Moreover, with temperatures over 35 degrees, the accommodation is so poorly insulated that it becomes a real furnace during the day; you have to wait until night to air it out... The sheets provided for making the beds upon arrival were stained. Toiletries are not provided (or cost extra), no sponge upon arrival, no dish soap, no soap (except for a shower gel seen later in the stash), no salt/pepper to help out, no dish towel, in short, nothing. For the price paid, it is frankly very, very excessive. Everything needs to be modernized, starting with cleaning the exteriors and the moss-covered roofs, installing insulation, and if there is no AC, at least installing fans; a dishwasher is the bare minimum (provide more washing machines, there are only 2 for the entire VVF and the campsite next door), a coffee machine with pods in 2026, and completely rearranging the interior (there is no room to store clothes for a family of 4, a lot of space is wasted in the bedrooms when storage shelves could be installed); a real oven would also be a plus, because you can't cook much in the microwave. You should also provide arrival kits, at least to help out: a sponge, a dish towel, dish soap, and a bar of soap!! The bare minimum.
In all honesty, you should compare the prices of vacation rentals in the area with a pool; it will end up being much cheaper by the week.
Regarding the pool: pleasant, enough lounge chairs, a bit noisy depending on the children/guests at the time.
The center director: despite being constantly busy throughout the day, she remains very professional and smiling. She has to manage it alone from what I understood.

Avoid!
The accommodation dates back to the 1970s and has not been maintained since.
We took this accommodation for the location and for the child care.
Be aware that the daycare is not open every day, which is not specified on their website. So be careful before booking activities. We've been fooled. The boss is unpleasant as possible and does not fail to make you understand that dirt is normal because we are surrounded by nature.
Even more amazing , this VVF is 3 stars! It's no better than a formula 1.

VVF Centre very well located for multiple excursions
Well located for excursions.
Very few activities at this time but friendly evenings supervised by a very dynamic director Veronique, and who will also give you good advice for your stay in the Lot.
