Great value and a pool and gym.

In the middle of a heatwave so the air con was fantastic and the pool a winner
V comfortable bed and rooms. Clean and modern
The breakfast is basic but lots of it and enough
A very hard working Soso on reception who seems to do everything

Everything about Kyriad itself was excellent .
The location was also very convenient for walking from or accessing public transport .
If there was any thing one small thing that could be easily improved, it would be for just one english language news channel to be added to the TV subscription ( BBC or Al Jazeera ? )

ALERT!!! THIEF!! ⚠️⚠️
If you see this review especially flee this hotel and do not book. Go your way,
even if it is the last hotel available in the city.
It’s simply a thief and swindler hotel that searches your rooms and steals your deposit by leaving promising to pay it back and then after a while when you start to notice the deception and you contact them they invent a story of theft without tail no head or evidence or explanations and steal your deposit.
So if you read this comment, even if you are in the last of the galleys did not set foot there it will not be better I tell you.
As for the hotel I hope you are ready for the next visit of DGCCRF. ROBBER!

The room was okay, the staff was friendly.
We were not happy about the private parking of the hotel. Sadly the gate of the parking stayed wide open day and night during the entire duration of our stay, and for 10 euro per day we expected a 100% safe spot for the car. Also the videocamera in the parking was blocked by a big truck…
The breakfast was a bit dissapointing. For 13 euro pp we expected more than yesterdays croissants, eggs we boiled ourselves, and few slices of emmental, no fruits, and a yoghurt that was one day expired.
Pay attention when you walk on the sidewalk in front of the hotel if you want to avoid dog poop on your heels.
Please don’t go to the snack bar ´grillades au feu de bois’ around the corner. When queuing for a sandwich around 9 pm, we almost got involved in a stab fight, when the employees started arguing in between them. Luckily the macdo was close by.
It was also usefull to have a supermarket close by.

I think it gets better

Located in a suburban area, in a narrow one-way street. The car park is two streets ahead inside a blue gate with assigned space at a cost of 10 euros per night. To get the gate opened, just dial a phone number provided by the hotel. The staff is divided into those who can speak English and are friendly and smiling and those who do not speak English or even wave when they see you. Our room was on the ground floor near premises with washing machines and a kitchen. I think it's a warehouse room. Cons: dust above the lamps on the bedside table, small iron cupboard style swimming pools, tub-shower with shower not working. toilet too high, poor lighting, window overlooking the pool, lack of minibar, only 2 shower towels without hand towel, no welcome kit, poor hair dryer that does not dry. Pros: working air conditioning, presence of 2 sinks, wooden floor, clean sheets, (you have to ask every morning if they make you the room otherwise they do not). Very poor breakfast some croissants on the cross, pieces of baguette, dubious cakes, cereal, a few slices of ham or cheese, some yogurt, eggs, jams in glass containers, hot drinks machine with chocolate that looked like dirty water. Loud music at midnight from the pool speaker, they had forgotten to close it. Would not stay there again and would not recommend it.
