Rural

We stayed here in the middle of August on route on the way home from the south of France. We had a terrible experience with booking.com in Limoges and had to to leave the "penthouse appartment" as it smelt of urine so was a little hesitant to say the least as this was my budget night.
I shouldnt have been worried, the place is immaculate and the hosts are amazing and greet you as if you are old friends. They do not speak much English but we all muddled through with some hand gestures some broken French and some broken English. We travelled in a group of 9 and the larger family stayed in the farmhouse and we stayed in the little gypsy caravan which my kids loved. Alan showed us around the goats, livestock etc then took the children in to an outhouse to see a baby goat which he was hand rearing and some baby pigeons.
I would go back again in a heartbeat their hospitality was first class.

Do not repeat

Very damp room, strong musty smell
Requires sleeping window open
Very cramped toilet
No soap provided or garbage in the room
For breakfast, fermented orange juice
Friendly welcome but does not offset the disadvantages
No soundproofing in the room (shower, voice .....)

Lamentable

Inadmissible!! No welcome by the owners, the 10-year-old son who opens the door and that's it.. filthy smell of moisture in the room! Wet towels! Had to leave the window open all night! That a desire to go sleep elsewhere..shower room closed by a transparent curtain, no door (part with my son..no privacy ) wc too small not possible to close the door..No wifi, TV 1 channel.. not even a bottle of water. The worst bed and breakfast I've ever stayed! Pdj minimal..no discussion. Owners...
Sign for sale so no more effort I think...
Very disappointed!!! Run away!

Misinformed

One night in the caravan, the setting is ideal. On the other hand, even if I am not a demanding person, I must admit that I found it average. First, no fan even though it was hot. There was mold all over the fridge. The shutters are damaged and difficult to close, and the wood is really starting to crumble on one of the windows. The phone number displayed in Wonderbox or on Google is not the correct one and has been for at least two years. Their response: "we do not manage these sites. It says "wifi" in the reservation. Except when I ask I am told "oh well no there isn't any". The same on the hotel rooms website hosts it is indicated that there is soap, except there is only dishwashing liquid so take soap with you You have to stop taking people for imbeciles If you don't have a GPS, it. It's complicated to find the address because the words "guesthouse" are only mentioned in front of the address... At breakfast, we don't get an answer when we ring the doorbell. We had to call by finding the telephone number on a professional card on the door...as for the breakfast jams, it is not indicated on the jars what they are and the owners are really little smiling to say the least.

Nice room but lots of humidity and poor breakfast

We arrived at 4:20 p.m. I called Sylvia 3 times, the person who had not responded to my email a few days before, did not respond to my 3 calls despite my messages. A very nice gentleman arrived at 5:30 p.m. and apologized.
Very strong smell of humidity in the room and very noisy ventilation.
The towels were very damp, not to mention wet, so it was impossible to use them.
The mediocre breakfast: it was cheap industrial frozen bread (in shreds) and the croissant (also frozen), was completely soggy and disgusting.
We were not able to tell Sylvia who did not deign to come and see us and only tolerates good reviews so much so that she is aggressive in responding to bad reviews.
No Madam, you don't go to the bakery every morning!!!
