RUN AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL!
Upon arrival, we noticed many hygiene and comfort problems:
- Presence of mould around the patio door, accompanied by agglomerated insects.
- Overall very dirty accommodation: carpets seeming to be used to hide dirt, yellowed and stained cushions despite the assertion that they were "new".
- Unpleasant odor on bed linen and towels, probably related to humidity and lack of maintenance.
- Total absence of heating in the dining area, because the owner had her plants hibernated there, making the room freezing in the middle of December.
- Bed held by cinder blocks and rope.
Non-functional refrigerator upon arrival.
- No space provided to put suitcases or toiletries.
- Direct access from the owner's home to the rental, an important point that is absolutely not mentioned in the ad and that we would have liked to know before booking.
The owner received us very quickly because of our arrival at 9 pm. We dropped off our belongings before leaving, then upon our return around midnight we discovered the real state of the accommodation, with no possibility of being relocated at that time. We therefore decided not to stay for the two nights booked. Finally, we had the impression that the owner was not really looking to ensure the comfort of her guests, but rather to prioritize the financial aspect, which reinforced our disappointment. We invite future travelers to be vigilant and carefully consult the photos we have taken, which accurately reflect the condition of the accommodation.
