Lovely place to stay, mostly.

This hotel is a lot like a good movie that could have been best ever. The service is first class. The location is top notch! The pool is heated. The dinner was lovely. The driveway is majestic if not overgrown with lots of parking. You can walk right to downtown. Our bathroom was really actually really nice and modern. The room was big. Loved the wood floors. The pool could use a cleaner machine because it’s starting to turn the tile green. There were big stains on the chair in our bedroom. The mattress was layers of foam under an old mattress. I would have replaced all that. Still the bed was soft but kind of clapped out. Several broken door handles in the hotel, not sure why not fixed? The secondary lights in the hallway didn’t go on, just the recessed too bright lights. Again, the service was great and we would return. These are small issues since the hotel and staff were so lovely. Nothing is perfect. We would come back.

Paid Twice, Zero Accountability

I had one of the worst customer experiences of my travels here. Due to a mistake, I accidentally cancelled my booking on booking.com. I still came to the hotel, explained the situation at reception, and paid the full price for my stay in cash.
Weeks later, the hotel insisted on charging me a cancellation fee on top of the payment they had already taken. I contacted them repeatedly (over a dozen messages) and never received a single response. This shows a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for paying guests.
This is not how a trustworthy business treats customers. I will never stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values honesty and fair treatment.

Birthday dinner

I am very surprised by some very negative reviews. Two years after our first experience, we went back. We found a friendly Welcoming and a very satisfactory Service. The inventive cuisine did not disappoint us.
It is likely that if the opportunity arises, we will return again

A very good stay

Residence in medium stay. we found in this establishment a rare Welcoming attentive listening committed staff. The rooms are clean spacious parking represents an important comfort as well as the possibility of electric charging. The restaurant serves fine cuisine and breakfast in the morning is varied and rich. The park is available as well as a heated swimming pool. The town centre of Jausiers is a 5-minute walk away the lake is accessible on foot by the promenade along the ubaye. We recommend this property is worth a visit.

An excellent house

We spent 4 days in Ubaye for mountain biking and hiking and discovered Villa Morelia. We particularly enjoyed the setting with its garden, bar, super restaurant in the 1900s building, comfortable and impeccable rooms, adorable staff and laid back Welcoming of Robert the boss who moreover found us a solution for a delicate situation.
We will return with pleasure, it is a place where we feel good, and well positioned because we have not yet gone around the valley.
