In only one word: outstanding!

This truely is one of the best experiences you can have. The hosts, Eric and Olivier are without exaggeration the best you can get. They are extremely friendly and caring, making sure the guests have the most pleasant stay they can provide.
The room we had was very comfortable, the bed great and the breakfast is in one word superb.
The fact that children are not allowed to stay makes it a quiet area. No playing around at the heated pool.
Honfleur is a really nice town with great restaurants that Eric and Olivier recommend and make reservations for. It's also a great location to visit the WW II landing sites, memorials and museums.
We will surely come back to Villa du Cèdre

Relaxing Tranquility

What an amazing place! Hosts Eric and Olivier have created such a beautiful and relaxing place. The pool and garden are so tranquil. The breakfasts and attention to detail were second to none. So close to everything but in a very quiet street. We will be back!

An oasis in Honfleur

Those seeking the comfort and amenities of a 5-star hotel are in the wrong place. There is no more personality than that provided by the hosts. We had the Junior Suite with balcony (Giselle), which even has air conditioning. Large bathroom, comfortable bed, and plenty of space for luggage. The highlight is the personal, small, but fine breakfast in the garden - that’s a great way to start the day. The pool is also appropriately heated and provides a refreshing experience. Conclusion: absolute recommendation!

A dream stay.

A dream stay at the Cedar Villa.
A personalized welcome, a delicious breakfast, and a sumptuous decor both in the reception and in the room with a garden view. The bedding is perfect; I slept like a baby.
I highly recommend this timeless moment, a beautiful discovery. Thank you to the hosts for their kindness!

A wonderful stay!

Oliver and Eric are wonderful hosts. It felt like we were in someone’s very comfortable and beautiful home rather than a hotel. Very comfortable bed in Giselle our junior suite. Important for me as I frequently struggle with mattresses abroad due to a back condition. The balcony and view over the lovely garden Eric has created, added to the sense of luxury. His homemade cake was a lovely extra too. Both hosts were so helpful with advice about what to see and how to access.
Honfleur has many restaurants nearby and we would book ahead for the ones that have the highest reviews.
We loved the gardens of personalities, a short walk from the harbour and on a damper day, we loved a trip to Caen and the incredible World War Two museum. We also spent a day in Rouen seeing the cathedral and the museum des beaux arts.
We loved wandering the streets of Honfleur which is truly like stepping back in time. A favourite place to stop for coffee or a beer was a cafe/restaurant that was halfway down the right side of the harbour as you look to the sea. Outdoor sofas and comfy chairs meant a comfortable few hours people watching and enjoying the ambience.
We went on a boat trip and there are a few choices for this but check if the commentary is in your language.
We also spent time reading in Villa Du Cedres sitting room waited on by our thoughtful hosts and round the delightful pool on the huge padded subbed for two.
A very luxurious and comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!
