The "Do Not Disturb" is useless, we still go to your room

I stayed two nights at the Britt Hotel in Fumel. Apart from the fact that it is extremely poorly insulated (I was able to follow the telephone conversation of my neighbor and her mother who was on speakerphone while the volume of voices was normal, I want to warn people that the sign "do not disturb" for housekeepers is of no use. I hung it on my door and when I came back, the room was done. My belongings on the bed - computer, jewelry, hard drive, glasses, pajamas - had fired and distributed the second bed, the desk and my suitcase which, for the occasion, was opened to place my pajamas (which, as a result, I searched in vain for about ten minutes). I reported the trespass at Welcoming, the employee checked and did not understand how it was possible since they had noted that I did not wish to be returned to my room, he came to check and noted the facts. The warden has been warned, I have not received any message of explanation or apology. It's a scandal.

Never again

A nightmare.
Shortened overnight stay due to deplorable conditions: no possibility of refund, no commercial gesture, no proposal to change rooms. The friendliness of the staff? Zero. Not even a "hello."
The room reeked of sewage, impossible to sleep. To top it all off, a pair of slips hung in the bathroom on arrival – very classy! Dust accumulated for chandeliers, visible mold in the bathroom... a real lack of hygiene.
We preferred to leave and lose 100 €, including living expenses. Shame on an establishment that calls itself a hotel. Absolutely fleeing.

Bad memory

The waitress should move on to another profession. Rosé was not fresh, she offered to put ice cubes. The beef dishes according to cooking were not in tune with our orders. The air conditioning was icy and arrived on our backs but no way to lower it. In short we will not come back, yet our parents were regulars and loved this restaurant.
