Great location for exploring the Pyrenees by the Little Yellow Train. The staff are friendly and attentive and the dining room meals were excellent.

family hotel in perfect location

Always friendly team, central location with free parking (you do not touch your car once arrived). Thank you again for the late check-out at the end of the congress.

Easter ski trip

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were all fabulous. The location was perfect too with wonderful views of the mountains.

A lovely quiet and charming hotel

We loved our stay at L'Oustalet. It is in a quiet street only 5 mins walk from the busy centre of Chamonix, the bus and train stations. It has free parking! Oliver and Audrey and the team were all friendly, generous and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet with views of Mont Blanc. The pool is wonderful after a hot day of hiking and the garden area perfect for lunch - had a delicious salad followed by homemade ice cream and wonderful patisserie treats made by their pastry chef. Highly recommended!

The check-in experience was a bit challenging since the staff only spoke French, but things improved significantly when the front desk lady used her cellphone to translate, which made the process smooth and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the location was perfect for us — we were visiting Andorra and also wanted to explore parts of the French Pyrenees. The only inconvenience was that the rooms didn’t have air conditioning. However, the outside temperature was pleasant enough to enjoy a nice breeze in the room.
