a haven of peace

Nice stay at Michelle and Bertie. A great welcome , a very good and friendly dinner , a top breakfast. Michele's taking care of her. Swimming pool for sunny days. An essential step.

10 out of 5! Michelle is an extraordinary host and her dinner and breakfast were so memorable. I was the first of the season to use the pool; was a bit cold but worth the plunge! I had the room around and behind the house, a veritable oasis. Great bed and best bathroom and shower. Michelle is a delight and I look forward to returning in the future for a few days. And buy her book, Dear Marco, a sad but inspiring story of her recent years.

Had to be seen to be believed

The whole experience staying at At Maison Lamothe really had to be experienced to do it justice. The location- the accommodation-Michelle the host-the freshly cooked food and divine beds are exemplary. I’m a regular!!

Isolated and quiet location, beautiful and large outdoor swimming pool. Comfortable and very well equipped rooms. Reception and meals except

Superb rest stop for Compostela walkers.
Very nice swimming pool and well-equipped rooms.
I highly recommend this place.
The lady will pick you up on the way and take you back the next day.
Very good regional products to taste during the meal.

Simply Le Gers Complait

My wife and I were simply blown away by the location and the beauty of this wonderful Chambre D'Hotes located near Flamarens in Gers. The welcome from host Michelle is both warm and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. The home cooked local food is delicious, and the rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable. It's a great location for exploring the region, as well as being only a 30 or 45 minute drive to transport links to the larger cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse. A car isn't a must, but it is useful.
All in all we were simply enchanted and have already booked our return next spring ❤️
