So helpful, attentive and caring! I was sad to leave!

Incredibly impressed with our stay at 52 Eymet, I booked it because there was a twin room available I was staying with a friend, and we were working in the region and wanted to stay somewhere nice nearby. After failing to find a taxi from Bergerac Catherine booked us a transfer with Jean- Louis, he was so welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived that I felt I was chatting to an old friend, the breakfasts were superb especially the omelette he cooked us early in the morning on our final morning so we didn’t miss breakfast before he took us back to the train station. Throughout the stay he was kind, thoughtful, told the best stories and made us feel comfortable! We could come and go as we needed to, the b&b is quiet, pretty, comfortable and the attention to detail is amazing with so many lovely and interesting things to look at! It’s also just a stones throw from the many restaurants and cafes in the tiny little square- some of the yummiest food and beautiful old buildings! Thank you Catherine & Jean- Louis! I hope to come back again in the future to visit!

I highly recommend this B&B for several reasons: welcome on the phone , follow-up by email , welcome on arrival , cleanliness , decoration of the house , courtyard where we had delicious Breakfast AND enriching conversations with Jean Lou .
I will be happy to return to 52 as soon as my schedule allows.

Merci Fabulous 52

This is a perfect b and b in the most beautiful town in the Dordogne. 52 Eymet is just off the square in a very quiet street surrounded by little shops, cafes and private houses - at night is it so quiet and serene while being a stone’s throw from the regular action in the square and chateau grounds.
The hosts at 52 are just lovely, and very experienced in all aspects of hospitality. They were available and very attentive when needed but discrete, and each offered advice and guidance about places and experiences and conventions.
The house is lovely, sympathetically decorated in the French style with little touches that made it both luxurious and cosy.
The breakfasts were so special; huge, fresh, local croissants; fresh home-made yoghurt; crusty bread and home-made conserves; fruit and/or eggs; fresh local juices - all served with fresh coffee in the cool and very pretty courtyard. Each component noteworthy and delicious, together it was the best start to the day.
We feel truly blessed to have spent time in Eymet and to stay at 52 was perfect.

Fantastic place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming B&B. It is literally just off the picturesque square of Eymet where there is lots of choice of restaurants, shops and bars. Rooms are beautiful with the comfiest beds! Jean-Louis was so welcoming and looked after us so well. Breakfasts were amazing with fresh croissants and homemade jams and yoghurt. The pretty courtyard at the back was a lovely peaceful place to sit in the sunshine in the late afternoon. We will definitely return here.

Simply superb

What a beautiful house, I stayed in the green room with a lovely big comfy bed, hosts are super friendly and location couldn’t be better. I would definitely recommend without hesitation if you are in the area.the hosts were accommodating and everything you will need for your stay you can find in your room.
