Great wedding
Our wedding at Château de Pourpry was an unforgettable experience. The enchanting setting, with the pool, lush garden and terrace offering breathtaking views, created a magical atmosphere. The honorary waterfront wine and meal, including delicious eggplant caviar, delighted all our guests. We would like to warmly thank Beatrice for her warm welcome and availability. Thanks to her, our day was perfect. We highly recommend the Castle of Pourpry to celebrate such special events.

Tout a été très facile, vos invités ont été charmants, vous êtes bien entourée.
Et oui, vous avez raison : il faut garder les moustiquaires bien fermées, il y a beaucoup d'insectes dans la forêt et c'est tant mieux , mais chacun chez soi ;-)
Vous souhaitant beaucoup de bonheur de très longues années.

Wedding anniversary
Beautiful place where we met as a family for a wedding anniversary.
Beautiful house tastefully restored in an environment of greenery and flowers with superb views from the terrace.
The hosts are adorable and were very caring for the success of our party.
We will not hesitate to come back for another opportunity.

Delightful stay
We had a comfortable and delightful stay for two nights at this beautiful property in the quiet Damiatte area. The property is well kept. The owners are friendly, gracious and attentive. We speak little French, but this was not an issue. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were very accommodating to our schedule. We will definitely return on our next visit to this area.

Terrible experience does not deserve 1 star
Very sumptuous estate that would have allowed us to spend a great event for the wedding of my friends
However very intrusive owners who allowed themselves to put in the cellar the drinks brought by the care of my friends who rented the estate
Owners lacking in ethics, having intruded into the wedding party without invitation, allowing themselves to regulate our consumption more than soft alcohol, the wine of honor being exclusively composed of soft drinks,
After hours of negotiations they completely lost all notion of good behavior and the woman even accused a guest of assaulting her???!! When how why, we'll never know
They ruined part of the wedding, wasting us a few hours of good time, allowing us only wine at lunch and blocking the bride and groom wishing to get their bottles back, fortunately the guests were able to bounce back!
An area thus spoiled by the lack of morality of its racist owners

Les 2 avis ci-dessous n'ont pas été publié par des clients mais par un prestataire avec lequel nous sommes rentrés en conflit en raison de méthodes de travail inadaptées.
Nous avons demandé à Trip advisor de retirer ces avis déposé par des pseudos créés pour l'occasion mais c'est impossible.
Qu'on se rassure, tout s'est bien passé pour les mariés comme pour les invités.
Concernant à l'accusation de racisme, elle ne fait que démontrer le niveau déplorable de l'auteur...

A nightmare experience!
I strongly advise against renting this accommodation, especially for an event as important as a wedding. My experience has been a nightmare, largely due to the intrusive and overbearing behavior of the property owner. She was ubiquitous from morning to night, watching our every move, which created an oppressive and unpleasant atmosphere for us and our guests.
The Owner's behaviour exceeded all acceptable limits. She imposed a totally abusive contract, even limiting each guest's alcohol consumption to two drinks for the entire evening. This clause, which is totally arbitrary, violates the rights of everyone and our privacy. Instead of contenting herself with her role, she harassed each guest by following them everywhere, constantly intervening in an intrusive manner.
This attitude clearly amounts to harassment, invasion of privacy, discrimination and a gross violation of individual rights. In addition to that, she did not hesitate to impose her advice on how we should arrange the room, down to the smallest detail such as the arrangement of tea towels. His obnoxious and haughty attitude ruined much of our day.
As for the accommodation and the reception room, the condition was just as disappointing. The room smelled closed and had a persistent unpleasant smell, which is far from ideal for an event of this importance.
In short, I advise you to flee this accommodation and avoid this catastrophic experience at all Awards.

Monsieur, ce n'est pas parce que vous êtiez traiteur pour ce mariage que celà vous autorise à vous faire passer pour un client pour nous nuire. Je me vois mal me faire passer pour un client pour critiquer votre restaurant. Nous sommes entrés en conflit en raison de vos méthodes de travail que nous désapprouvons, restons-en là.
De plus vos attaques sont incohérentes : comment une propriétaire peut-elle être intrusive sans la remercier pour avoir ramassé 12 verres cassés entre les pieds des invités ?
Comment lui reprocher de s'en tenir au contrat concernant la modération d'alcool alors qu'elle s'est fait insultée par un invité aviné et que pourtant elle a fait preuve de souplesse en laissant consommer les 20 bouteilles d'alcools forts non convenues ?
Et enfin comment reprocher une odeur désagréable dans une salle de 5 mètres de plafond avec 2 baies vitrées grandes ouvertes ?
