Amazing place to stay, so calm and tranquil, and right in the centre of cognac. Staff were extremely helpful, and the accommodation was lovely and clean. I will most certainly be returning.

Great place to stay!

Such a beautiful, peaceful setting to stay. Right in the centre, really attentive staff, and amazing rooms. I will definitely be back to stay in one of their lake cabins.

Great stay

Lovely room, great breakfast , great location. Lots of good eating places nearby . Thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

nice and big rooms, very hard mattress

I loved the room and the location near the beautiful river Charente. They‘ve got a private parking and a lovely garden with access to the river. We didn‘t sleep well though due to the extremely hard mattress which made is wake up several times during the night because it hurts your hips and back. Cognac is an elegant but sleepy town with not many restaurants. Best thing to do is to get yourself nice cheeses, rillettes and pastry in the city centre you can eat on the hotel terrace. We had a ground floor room where sadly you couldn‘t sit outside when it rains as the floor of the terrace above wasn‘t waterproof.

Our stay was acceptable, but the reality did not quite match the photos on Hotels. Both the room, especially the bathroom, and the outdoor areas, including the pool, looked much better in the pictures than they did in person. The bathroom was showing its age and could do with some refurbishment. Overall, we expected the hotel to be more in line with how it is presented online.
