Superb find

Superb small B&B that will better most high end hotels. Only 4 rooms , ours was immaculate great walk in shower and roll top bath , really comfortable bed and excellent air con which was needed in the 40 degree heat wave for our 3 night stay.
The building seeps history as you enter the courtyard corridor through the big green doors from the quiet but nondescript street.
15 min walk from station and a 10 min stroll to squares with bars and restaurants
And 20 mins up to the Citadel.
Loved it and will return thankyou Virgine

A wonderful place from which to explore Cascassonne

The door off the street looks just like any other door in the street. Once you open the entrance door into the old stone corridor, history hits you. This place is absolutely delightful. The rooms had everything l wanted, and the host extremely friendly and helpful. I wish l could have stayed longer.

Luxurious and spotlessly clean B&B, beats most French 4 star hotels

Charming English speaking host, convenient location less than 10 minutes from the train station and close to the Central square, restaurants and shops. Five star quality accommodation and good breakfast

One night will not be enough.

First thing - Virgine is the perfect host. This B&B is an absolute find behind big plain door. Beautiful rooms, exquisitely designed and considered with lots of thoughtful touches. Spacious and spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfasts full of flavour and choice. Location - ideal for La Citie and the Bastide Quarter, lots to see and do. Restaurants abound within 500 metres, making dinner choices a pleasure and a curse.

Good job!
The heart of the Bastide is nestled in a beautiful mansion ... in the heart of the lower town of Carcassonne, the Bastide, perfectly located a few steps from Place Carnot and its restaurants, 7-8 minutes from Carcassonne station and 1⁄4 hour from the medieval city.
Our guests are as discreet as they are attentive to our needs. They have carefully appointed 4 bedrooms. We enjoyed a large room particularly well decorated and well lit. The bedding is excellent. Sanitary at the end of the day, beautiful walk-in shower, separate toilet, “retro” bathtub, and sufficient sheets.
Breakfast in an annex caters to all needs and our host spares no effort and legs to satisfy us.
And, icing on the cake, we slept in peace! No noise from neighboring rooms or the environment (room overlooking the garden)! The more difficult ones might point out the bells of St Vincent’s Cathedral that make it unnecessary to wake up in the morning at 07:00, but it’s rather nice.
