Quirky accommodation

Had a great three night stay at De La Boire Bavard. Brilliant, brilliant breakfast. Well located for restaurants and days out. Hot tub was a bonus and made up for the swimming pool being covered up. The room we had is best suited for people under 5ft tall or you have to walk around bent double.

wonderful place, charming rooms, great breakfast and exceedingly helpful proprietress

we recently spent two happy nights here. the place has all the charm of an old stone structure with all of the modern conveniences that we appreciate - wonderful mattress and bedding and a well equipped bathroom. not only is the place charming, the small village is as well. not to mention the surrounding vineyards and chateaus. i plan to return, sooner rather than later.

Fantastic accommodation and very friendly and helpful

We stayed here one night after we had been cycling for a week along the Loire and it was a beautiful setting with our own individual seating area outside of our rooms. The rooms were beautiful and very quirky, nothing else you could ask for. Our host brought us freshly backed desert later in the evening which which was gorgeous as was breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend this beautiful property to stay in.

Quirky, welcoming and comfortable

We spent a night here with friends whilst clycling along the loire a velo section of eurovelo 6. As well as secure accommodation for our bikes, we enjoyed a warm welcome with a pot of tea on arrival, use of the lovely warm pool and the fantastic breakfast provided by our hosts. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the towels the thickest of the trip! Our room was an atic room with a quirky half height door - worth asking about if you're very tall and/or suffer back problems. Others were available so this doesn't have to be a problem.
All in all I would love to have stayed another night - what more can I say?

Boire Bavard

Difficult to find, but very friendly locals escorted us to our destination! Warm and friendly welcome. Lovely cottage style room, but with modern taste décor which made for a comfortable stay. Lovely out door swimming pool set in beautiful garden and grounds. No evening dinner, but Maryline recommended a restaurant and made the booking. Good breakfast served on the patio (weather permitting obviously!).
