Great Hotel!

location, location, location!! this hotel has the perfect location right in the middle of old Bayeux. It's next to all the shops & restaurants- so scenic! Close to all the pickup spots for tours too. The rooms are good- not a ton of space but the bed is soft & the room is clean. Breakfast every morning had a nice variety. Staff is very friendly. If i found myself in Bayeux again I would definitely stay here once more!

We stayed at the Churchill Hotel for 5 nights. The location is excellent. If you have tours scheduled to D Day beaches and Mont Saint-Michel, you will pick up your van just around the corner. Very easy walking distance. Also very close to the main attractions in Bayeux. Very close to great restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean room and comfortable bed. They do not have an elevator. We stayed in Room 6 and it was very easy to get to, not upstairs. They provide a very nice breakfast and there is a bar in the hotel. Highly recommend!!

We booked a privilege room. It had enough space and was very quiet - no external noise at all.
Location is the best of any hotel in Bayeux. Right on the Main Street in the middle of all the restaurants, bars shops etc. all day tours depart from the street at the back of the hotel. It’s less than a 15 min walk to/from the train station. There are plenty of taxis.
All staff were super friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations.
Room was spacious enough, clean and quiet. Aircon and wifi both were excellent.
Breakfast was ok.
The front desk team were the highlight. So friendly, so helpful.
We stayed for a week and didn’t run out of things to do. There so much much more the Bayeux than D-Day beaches.
We loved Churchill Hotel and would definitely return.

Great 3 star hotel

The best location in town. Right on the Main Street (but absolutely zero noise from outside), all the day tours leave from the back of the hotel and there is a supermarket and many restaurants all within a few blocks. We walked to and from the train station - about 15 minutes.
We booked a privilege room and it was excellent. Enough space for us both, water kettle (no mini fridge), great wifi and air con.
The front desk team were super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. The walking food tour with Delphine was a real highlight. One day we walked to a dairy farm just out of town for amazing locally produced ice cream. There is much more to Bayeux than World War 2 history!
We stayed a week and didn’t run out of things to do. In the peak season you need to book restaurants in advance. Many are closed on Sunday and Monday nights. La Rapiere was the best restaurant by far.
After the week the breakfast got a little boring, but the friendly and helpful staff more than compensated for that.
The location, quietness, cleanliness and convenience make this a great place for a Bayeux visit.

Staff was amazing! Location was great place especially to meet tour for Normandy--perfect and convenient! Note--if you have luggage keep in mind you may need to carry upstairs as limited ground floor rooms. Clean, air-conditioned, and great location!
