Dismay!

The hotel is nothing like an Ibis Style; the services are far below what one is entitled to expect.
The furniture is damaged, the paintings and carpets are stained and degraded, and the bathrooms are filled with limescale (the shower glass is broken).
The breakfast room resembles a cafeteria (in the basement without windows), and the furniture and paint are also degraded.
The price of the room is very high compared to the service provided.
Fortunately, the staff, with their kindness and attentiveness, are there to alleviate the discomfort of the premises.
A gesture was granted to us after our remarks (refund of the parking fee).
Wonderful stay and exceptional dining!

Dated and dirty

I can 100% confirm the accuracy of previous reviews of this hotel. The decor is very dated and the entire hotel including the room which we stayed in, was badly in need of a clean. The carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in some time, there were cobwebs along all of the walls, bathroom tiles were cracked and broken, the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied and paint was peeling off all of the skirting boards. The tv within the room wouldn’t turn on and the bedroom window (on the 5th floor) had no safety catch allowing it to fully open (not ideal with children in the room). On the plus side, the bedding was clean, the shower worked and the air con operated well. Breakfast in the hotel basement was very basic and as other reviews have mentioned, resembled a school canteen. The charge for parking wasn’t made clear when booking. Thankfully one night only for us, wouldn’t recommend.

Very dirty place, avoid it

Dirty place with bad smells and stains everywhere, we left, we didn't stay, we were supposed to stay two days, we left two days early even, it was so disgusting

a disgrace

Worst Accor experience ever. Most incompetent, arrogant, staff you can encounter. they made a mistake and had me pay to much but they just didn't care. even had fun with it,Worst refused to refund what they stole. This staff are a shamefull disgrace to the profession of hotel recxeptionist. And the management and Accor. They don't give a s**t. Contacted them, no response from the management of ibis style Annemase. Contacted Accor, just some worthless routine bs, rejecting all responsibility

The positives: hot shower, comfy bed, soft pillows, friendly staff. Breakfast was ok...
The negatives: hardest hotel to get into (have to be buzzed in); first room had mould and dirty toilet, ripped curtain. Quickly moved to another room but the decor was bare and the bathroom was falling apart.
Not the usual standards of an Ibis Styles, this place needs some serious TLC.
