The manageress/owner does not deserve to have any customers!
A few weeks later this was repeated, so I continued to ignore it.
A couple of days before we were due to stay at the hotel I received an email asking me to ring to verify my credit card details - we were busy cycle-touring around France/Switzerland, and following the previous advice, I continued to ignore it.
Then, on the day before our stay, I received an email stating that because I hadn't contacted the hotel my booking had now been cancelled! Worried that we would have nowhere to stay that night, and angry at the tone of the email, I replied saying that the booking had better still be intact.
When we arrived at the hotel we were met by a rather surly and rude woman (presumably the manger/owner), we had a discussion and she said the rooms were still available, so I briefly left the hotel to let my companions know, however when I subsequently went back to the hotel, she had LOCKED the front door and wouldn't respond to me pressing the doorbell.
We had cycled over 75 miles that day, it was late afternoon/early evening and we couldn't easily cycle lots more miles to find somewhere else to stay; she knew we were a group of cyclists but still refused to let us in.
She is quite simple awful and doesn't deserve the respect of travelers - my advice is stay well away from her and her dumpy, shoddy looking hotel.

Great location
Warm welcome, centrally located hotel, a little noise if you leave the door open at night, small parking in the courtyard otherwise possibility to park in the street, impeccable cleanliness, perfect bedding, buffet breakfast with a wide choice.

We were very well received by very friendly people and very available and attentive to guests.
Pension very nice, outside and inside.
Very pleasant, we feel very quickly.
We had an outside room, beautiful!
Very clean, beautiful decoration.
We will return without hesitation.
