I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Grand Pacific Hotel on September 1. The location was perfect—within easy walking distance of my business meetings and downtown Suva. There were also plenty of great dining and café options at the hotel. Most of all, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend the GPH to others.

It’s a lovely building and piece of colonial history and one of the nicest places to stay in Suva - staff are great - gym is small but adequate. Room amenities are good but not what you’d expect for this level of hotel, but the staff are just wonderful! Breakfast was also good and they did try to cater for most dietary restrictions!

This was my first stay at GPH, and I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional service I received from check-in right through to checkout.
My family and I traveled all the way from Nadi to Suva for my sister's wedding, and we were hoping we could access our room a little earlier so we could get ready in time for the celebrations. To my surprise and delight, our request was accommodated. If I remember correctly, the front desk staff member who assisted us was Luisa.
Working in a five-star hotel myself, I understand how important genuine hospitality and excellent customer service are. Luisa went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was warm, professional, understanding, and incredibly helpful during what could have been a stressful day. Her willingness to assist with our early check-in made a huge difference and allowed us to prepare for the wedding without any unnecessary pressure.
Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was friendly and courteous, which made our experience even more enjoyable. It's clear that GPH takes pride in delivering outstanding guest service.
A heartfelt thank you to Luisa for being such a lifesaver and for making our first stay at GPH so memorable. She is a true asset to the hotel, and because of the wonderful service we received, I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend GPH to family and friends.

Amazing hotel. Very beautiful and the staff is absolutely amazing. Sewa helped us so much and I want to say the breakfast was probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel. The hotel is walking distance from Suva hotspots and restaurants. Definitely will be back.

A perfect place to stay and see Suva

Lovely old colonial character (fully updated for modern comforts), quiet, clean, restful, delightful staff, very comfortable room, brilliant breakfast, good wifi, lovely common areas, walkable to everywhere AND they allowed me to pay by cash/bank transfer. A marvelous rest with views over the water. No mozzies. Bottled water supplied. 24 hour kitchen. For a very reasonable price.
