Superb customer service despite the late hour

We had a warm welcome despite the last minute booking and late hour, after a 4 ½ hour drive, having evacuated from the Grand Canyon North Rim fire. Our host was very kind and generous. I’m not saying you should *plan* it that way, but this motel is ideal if you have a late arrival. Most reception/ check-in desks in Williams shut at 11pm. We headed back to Williams because it was safe and had tourist amenities, but most importantly, American Regency Inn would still be open.
Comfortable room with large comfortable King bed. Proper heavy wooden furniture. Good air conditioning. 2 chairs & 2 bedside tables with ability to charge phones; fridge; soap and sachets of other toiletries. Immaculate sheets and towels. Possibly the bathroom floor could have done with an additional sweep, but otherwise was very clean and exceeded my expectations. Very generous with coffee and other amenities in the room. We mentioned something extra, that we wouldn’t necessarily expect, and he brought it to our room straight away.
I read a review which mentioned stuff outside the room. We wouldn’t have noticed the few leaves which must have blown over during the day, but our host was sensitive and picked them up. I feel petty mentioning it, but some readers might want to know that particular point has been addressed. Far more importantly, it illustrates an attitude of listening to feedback and taking action.
The quality of the room was good, and yes we were lucky to find somewhere that we could check in late, but it was the host and his outstanding customer service which were the game changer. We would absolutely stay here again as our first choice.

Ok if able to ignore the bugs in BRR.

The location was good. The motel was very dated. Beds were comfortable. The owner was willing to move our rm to the 1st level per our request. It did have bugs in the shower and on the floor in the BR. No bkf is offered here. Need to go to office to get coffee. Could hear people above us.

Great value

I stayed here on a whim, it was exactly what I needed. A large comfortable bed, coffee in the room, I could'nt ask for much more. The price compared to others is also great, its smartest to pay in cash at the hotel if the town isn't super busy. If it is a busy weekend, it's best to book online.

Might want to skip....

Our room smelled like a crime scene clean up....so at least it was clean. It was terribly outdated. The staff was friendly but we felt unsafe in the area and used the ironing board to barricade the door.

Pretty Decent

Regular old room. This time of year didn’t need the air conditioner after 6pm. Seems the air conditioner wasn’t working up to par from 3-6pm. I did something I rarely do. I booked through a third party website. I paid $89 After Tax. My travel partner paid $63 At the hotel registration office. Hot water worked well. Clean outdated room. Flat screen television. Location was really nice in Williams. Probably will stay again if I can find a decent rate $$.
