Just average or below.
Exercise equipment is old and outdated.
The wildlife was absolutely out of control and seems like there’s way too many deer.
Roads are narrow and dusty.
some of the lots look real trashy with a bunch of trees and limbs down.
At this time security seems to only be manning one gate.
Broken bridges, old rec center, lack of security, unkept lots.

Would not rent here again
First, the area is massive inside the resort. From our cabin the outdoor pools were 30 minutes away. That seems excessive, but it’s because all of the road inside are very steep, sharp, narrow mountain roads. A 3.5 mile trip to the pool takes 30 minutes. We opted to leave the gate and take the main roads to the pools.
Signage: there is not adequate signage anywhere in the property to locate the pools, parks etc. The maps provided only mark the 3 main roads in the resort so good luck trying to find anything if you aren’t familiar with the massive property.
Roads: Take a Xanax before driving inside the property- the roads are extremely narrow, and full of dangerous curves, Pools: Get ready to be given a bunch of rules when you enter any of the pool area including being forced to take a shower even if you aren’t swimming. Chairs were hard to come by and the picnic tables will give you massive splinters. Pools are very crowded.
Mini Golf: Don’t even bother. The “course” runs along an overgrown fence line and is concrete “holes” made probably 30 years ago.
Tubing: They advertise a drop off and pickup spot to swim and put tubes in the river. Good luck. By 8am it’s filled with pickup trucks and you can barely even get a car in or out. Large families pop up tents and back in vehicles so the area is not really accessible. That’s of course if you can even find it, because there is no signage that is visible from the main roads.
The Parks: That term is used very loosely. The duck pond where they say is a great spot for a picnic has zero parking and 1 picnic table. It’s located at the base of a really winding road so walking is difficult.
Gates: There is a guard posted from 9-6pm at the gates- most were very friendly. Some not so much. Make sure you have a copy of your reservation on you at all times. After 10 days the same guard asked us every time to see our reservation confirmation despite us being “in the computer “
Overall, if you are looking for a high end experience this is not it despite a large majority of cabins are very expensive to rent. We paid over $3500 for a 10 day stay hills and not at all lit at night.
Très bon emplacement
