Room was very clean. I think the 2nd level room floors are not carpeted because I could hear walking, thumping and furniture moving, which made for an early morning rising.😩 Breakfast was was offered. Waffles,muffins,bagels, toast,cereal,juices, yogurt, apples,coffee. Perfect for a one night 🌙 stay.

Terrible

Very rude staff and room was disgusting. The peep hole in the door had a rock stuffed in the outside of the hole and tissue on the inside of the hole. I have included pictures. We also had black feet after walking on the floor. When I brought it up at check out the front desk clerk told me they hadn't fixed it. I told them they shouldn't be renting a room with a hole in the door, he got belligerent with me and accused me of breaking the door and plugging it up myself. When I checked in my daughter drove up in her truck got out with her dog while I unpacked my car. The staff seen the dog outside on a leash. We left and took the dog with us. When we went back to hotel after we left the dog with our family who live in Show low. The dog never was in the motel room and when i received my statement I had a $40 extra charge. When I called the motel they said it was because I had a dog in the room. I Explained that the dog never stayed at the room and the clerk was rude and told me that the cleaning crew went in to change out towels and there were puppy pads in there (this was not true at all) then she said she had video and when I asked to see video she said i had to come to motel to see it. I called my family member who kept the dog for us and asked if they would go look at video, so i called the motel back and told them someone would be in to look at video and she said I needed to talk to the GM and he wasn't there then she hung up on me. I will warn anyone do not stay at this motel. They assumed because they saw the dog that it was in the room if they had came to my room and asked to come in they would have clearly seen no dog was there. Do not recommend at all!!!!!

The furnishings are old. No chair at the desk. Only two USB ports worked.
The floor looked clean but my white socks showed otherwise.
They were quick to provide additional towels when requested.

Bugs in room and very rude staff

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Quality Inn in Show Low. There were bugs in our room, which immediately made us uncomfortable and concerned about the cleanliness of the room.
What made the situation even worse was how it was handled when I brought it to the attention of the front desk. Instead of offering to move us to another room or providing any real solution, I was told to just “pick up the bug.” I found that response extremely dismissive and unprofessional.
When we explained that we were not comfortable staying in a room where we had found bugs, we still were not offered another room. We were essentially told that we could leave if we wanted to, but that we would not receive a refund.
Finding bugs in a hotel room is bad enough, but the lack of concern or effort to resolve the situation was what made the experience especially frustrating. At the very least, I would have expected an apology and an attempt to relocate us to a clean room.
Based on my experience with both the condition of the room and the way the situation was handled by the front desk, I would not stay at this location again.

Rooms were very small. Door has damage possibly from attempted break in (?). Several lamps did not work. T.v. got terrible reception.overall appearance of hotel was second rate.
