The room was clean there was no soap or shampoo in the room only conditioner but the tv had great channels to choose from I was able to get paramount plus and that alone would make me stay there again.

We booked two rooms. The rooms on the ground floor were very musty smelling. Obviously had water previously on the floor at some point since the ground floor rooms are actually below the outside ground level. We asked to switch rooms to 2nd floor. But they were smoked in with cigarette burns on the bathroom vanity top. Smelled of smoke in the rooms.
The beds comforters were wrinkled making us question if the sheets had actually been changed with new sheets, or just made without changing the sheets. The mattresses on the beds also sagged in the middle.
The lady attendant at the front desk was pleasant through all this. And was very understanding and helpful switching the rooms and then canceling them.
The hotel policy is to not give a refund when you cancel even if the rooms are disgusting. They charge a cancellation fee.

Ice machine wasnt working.
Conditioner container was empty.
Towles were very old had holes in them.
The hotel (Choice Hotel) across had the same issue their ice machine broken,they went out and bought ice for their customers. We asked but our hotel refused to buy some

Our reservation was cancelled the day of our check in by the hotel owner without any notification putting myself and my kids out of a place to stay on a weekend when all rooms were booked forcing us to travel to a neighboring town for the weekend. We used to always stay at this hotel but will never be going back due to this lack of consideration and greediness of the hotel owners.

My room was very dirty. Nothing had be dusted in quite a while. My floor got wet from the rain when I cleaned it up the towel was black. I found a paper bowl under the bed with food in it and my sheets looked like they were not changed from the previous stay
