BEST STAY IN SF! PALIHOTEL ❤️
I had a wonderful experience the moment I entered the lobby; everyone was so professional and friendly. I love all the little details the hotel provides. It’s in a great location, close to landmarks, food and the magic of San Francisco!
The room was so lovely, it reminded me of Paris; the decor and the comfort of a quality hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, diptyque product chefs kiss .
I want to shout out Crystal at the front desk, she was so sweet and kind. Her energy was contagious, she was so helpful and was able to help us with any of our questions.
She really is the face of palihotel, she is the first person you see and her actions were of the highest quality. She helped on the way out with luggage and made the stay wonderful.
My friend felt the same way, she’s looking forward to coming back with her family.
Thank you Crystal, you’re a stellar and special part of the PALIHOTEL!

Bring a white noise machine! We had ours cranked as loud as possible so we were able to drown out the music blasting in the building next door/street level. There’s nowhere to pull up and unload luggage out front — you have to park in the garage across the street, walk everything over, and then check in. Staff is really great, property is small and old but really unique + lots of character. Worked for us as a single night stay, probably wouldn’t be comfy for longer than that

Disappointing stay
Our room faced straight onto a back alley, so it was very dark and extremely loud. There was noise from what sounded like a trash truck dumping out bags of glass bottles over and over in the middle of the night and early in the morning. There were also people shouting in the alley at all hours. We noticed the noise issue immediately after checking in and asked to change rooms, but were told there were no other rooms available. We specified at check in that we’d like house keeping during our stay, but after being out of the room all day we returned at night to find our room had not been cleaned. The toilet in our room also didn’t flush correctly and the sink didn’t drain correctly and would get close to overflowing every time it was turned on.
Overall, the hotel felt dark and dingy and the service wasn’t particularly welcoming or friendly. It was bearable for two nights, but there are definitely better options.

I love staying at the Pali hotels. My room was extraordinary, big and very clean. The staff was very friendly when I checked in and helped me get accommodated. You are very close to Union square and lots of shopping nearby. By gray parking across the street or around the block

Cool decor, good location and friendly staff. The only comment is that it would be great if they provided a bottle like water or at least a water station where we can fill a bottle.
