Excellent accommodations! This hostel is truly a 'little habitat of humanity' with a very nice common area. Everything is well-organized for guest comfort at Chapter, and I especially enjoyed spending time in the community room; which has a well equipped kitchen. The entire place is clean and accommodating. The shared bathrooms are always spotless, and the shower rooms are modern and clean with plenty of hot water!

No good

Stayed 10 days at this hostel during a solo work trip. The first week was okay and considering the price, the amenities are decent. However there were several issues that made my overall experience disappointing.
The host was not very welcoming and, at times, came across as rude. I received a towel with red stains on it, and the blanket provided was far too small even though I’m only 5’3. The hostel could also be quite smelly at times. The showers leaked, and there were holes in the ceiling.
Toward the end of my stay I also had an uncomfortable interaction with a staff member outside. She was yelling at an Uber Eats motorcycle over some food. Next morning as I’m eating breakfast she burst in the lounge and addressed me by the name of my city even though we had never introduced ourselves or interacted before. I understand that the hostel has my ID information, but being addressed that way without any prior interaction made me uncomfortable.
I tried to bring up my concerns at the front desk before leaving this review, but the gentleman I spoke with became defensive and rude. At one point, he questioned whether I was even from the city I mentioned, which made me feel like I was being treated as if I were the problem. I actually ended up apologizing for bringing up the issue.
Overall, I understand that this is a budget hostel, and I wasn’t expecting luxury. However, basic cleanliness, professionalism, maintenance, and respectful communication should still be expected. Unfortunately, my overall experience was not a good one.

Entrance smelled bad, the owner was kind off rude, you had to pay for new towels or you get a new one every week, the beds are okay. Wouldn‘t book there again

Everyone was so nice at the hostel and knowledgeable about the City and Really were helping out a lot when I needed any questions answered. I would definitely tell my friends and family to stay here. Thanks a lot lot chapter.

I loved my stay at the Chapter. It was clean, organized, not crowded, quiet. I would stay again. The room was so cozy, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was clean and organized. I also loved the location. Very safe area, close to public transportation. Price was great.
