The whole experience from check in to checkout was flawless. This property is definitely worth the money. The staff is amazing and helpful. Overall all just top notch.

Made a reservation. Drove 13 hours for them to tell me they canceled my reservation bc I didn’t check in at 4pm. Mind you my check in wasn’t til 9pm. Took the money out of my account just to tell me that it will be 7-14 days before I get it back. Beyond pissed… do better

5 STAR Property and Service

Our check in experience was great. We were welcomed quickly at the entrrance and given instructions for checking in qith the front desk. The lobby was fresh, clean, and beautifully staged.
I was instructed to park in the oversized car lot by the gentleman attendant outside. Although his instructions were clear, l was challenged in finding the correct gravel parking space.
I called the front desk for help and thankfully, Diamond answered. She was patient with me as I tried to navigate an unfamiliar space. I felt sure I knew where to go. Turns out; I didnt! I called back and was connected with Diamond again. She stayed on the phone with me until I was parked im the correct lot. Siri could have never done that with such grace and personality!
Diamond is a true GEM! Her stellar service is noteworthy and I just had sing her praises! Thank you for starting our stay off right!

Pleasant

I recently stayed at this property and ran into an issue with a $339 overcharge, which I suspect was due to booking through a third-party site. However, the way the staff handled it was absolutely outstanding.When I brought the billing issue to their attention, Diamond took care of the situation right away—no questions asked! I also want to give a huge thank you to Rhonda and Diane, who took extremely good care of me during my brief stay.While third-party bookings can sometimes cause billing headaches, the incredible team here completely saved the experience. I am so grateful for their quick help and wonderful hospitality!

Very Disappointing Facility

Positives: The interior of the hotel is nice and some of the areas to eat/obtain drinks are good. We had a suite, so that was good as we had more area than a regular room. Negatives: The exterior of the hotel where the pool and lounge chairs are located is very disappointing. It doesn't live up to the pictures online. The area is small and the grass area is half grass and half mud, which blows on your lounge chair when trying to get sun. Some lounge chairs around the pool have cushions that are torn. The parking situation isn't good. There is a limited area to load and unload your bags and no valet to direct traffic. The parking garage is tight when turning corners and costs almost as much as you'd spend in other hotels for valet service. Overall, I'd really give this a 2 for the outside area and 3 for the interior. We have previously stayed at the Marriott Resort and Spa at Grand Dunes and that is where we would stay in the future if we ever go back to Myrtle Beach.
