One of the coolest boutique hotels we’ve stayed in
The rooms were beautiful and pristine, and I was so excited to find Further products in the room. It’s little details like that that make a stay feel elevated.
The complimentary breakfast was another standout. Stephanie and her team were incredibly kind and welcoming, the service was wonderful, and the food was delicious!!
The same goes for the entire front desk staff. Julio was fantastic, and every interaction with the team made us feel genuinely taken care of. You can tell there’s a real culture of hospitality here, and it shows.
We also spent some time at the rooftop bar, which was such a fun spot to unwind. I had the “Auntie Mame” cocktail and would happily order it again.
One thing I really appreciated was that The Abner feels like more than just a hotel. While we were there, they were hosting a flower workshop that looked so beautiful (next time, when I’m not chasing two little kids around!). I love when hotels create experiences that make you want to linger instead of just using them as a place to sleep.
One of my favorite things about The Abner is how pet friendly they are. Their pet amenity includes a dog bed, bowls, treats, and waste bags, and 50% of the pet fee is donated to The Little Guild Animal Rescue. I love supporting businesses that give back to their local community, and I thought this was such a cool, unique program.
We travel quite a bit, and it’s rare to find a hotel that has this much personality while also getting all the little things right. We left already talking about coming back.

Unique setting, quality time
A few quick highlights:
Our Room: Clean, nicely designed.
Food: Great breakfast and quality drinks up on the rooftop bar.
Service: Julio at the front desk helped us out a few times and was very warm and understanding.
Dog: They are definitely dog-friendly. The hotel sets you up with a bed and bowls. Found out that half the pet fee goes to a local animal rescue, which is a great touch.

Lovely spot near everything
Bathroom was roomy and had all the standard features. Water pressure was a little low in the shower but not so much to be an issue. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were excellent. So much so that I want to buy them for my home.
No televisions! At first I was aghast, because this was a business trip and I usually have the tv on in the background at night. But they have excellent free WiFi and I streamed a few shows but eventually found that I actually liked not having the television. Forced me to get outside, to read and get caught up on work.
Location is awesome— right across from a neat little public park area, next to shops and restaurants (although many are closed on Mondays). Plenty of parking on the back.
Staff is absolutely amazing. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable and accommodating.
Price per night was very competitive with area hotels. Surrounding area is fun to explore. Bring bug spray if it’s anywhere near summertime!
