Welcoming clean comfortable and friendly Hotel
I travel home to Holland Michigan twice a year and switched my hotel to the Doubletree this trip . I am so happy I did. They have poured a lot of hard work, money and love in to every part of this property. The rooms were new fresh , comfortable and beautiful. The staff was welcoming and asked me more than once how my stay was going and if there was anything I needed. I have really missed customer service like this. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast restaurant my first morning. Before hitting the Sugatuck Dune Trails with family I had the Michigan cherry oatmeal with cinnamon granola..tart dried cherries and a swirl of honey. It was so delish. I will definitely be back in the Fall.

Unfortunately, we found multiple bugs in our original hotel room, including around the bed and in other areas of the room. We immediately reported the issue to management, and while they did move us to another room, the experience had already significantly disrupted our stay.
We were traveling with our 15-month-old son, and because of the situation and having to relocate, he was awake for several hours past his normal bedtime. We were also concerned about the cleanliness of the room and whether any bugs may have gotten into our luggage or personal belongings.
We appreciate that management provided another room, but simply moving rooms did not resolve the fact that we were initially given a room with multiple bugs or undo the disruption it caused our family. This was an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience and not what we expected from our stay.

The room was very nice and refreshed. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was not included but a full meal. Hot tub is very large and nice! The hotel is under renovation.

Shower and sink had hair from previous occupants. Called front desk and clerk came up and cleaned the shower. Threw the clump of hair in the toilet and never flushed the toilet. Room had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time based on the dust that was present. Elevator doors kept opening and closing as we were trying to leave, so had to take the stairs. Overall, disappointing for a Hilton property.

The room and facilities were fine but service was terrible. We went for breakfast that we had paid for 15 mins prior to closing we entered at 945a. We were told we could only get to go breakfast (Apparently their kitchen stops making 10 mins before 10a) which was acceptable to us but what we didn't expect was not getting part of our order. We asked for pancakes for our kids and were assured its being made and when I asked that it wasn't in the bag he said you shouldn't have come 15 mins before closing and expecting everything. You can eat somewhere else. My kids got nothing to eat until we would leave and had to spend extra time to find something for them to eat. I think arrive at 930a otherwise expect you wont get breakfast and breakfast is not included you have to pay for it as I did and still got rude behavior. Needless to say wouldn't stay here again and recommend against staying there. There is a reason it has 7/10 review believe it.
