A pretty nice place, good price

We were prepared for this to be a horrible stay...they were actually in the middle of renovations. We got a really nice room at the top of the stairs...THE most comfortable bed of the entire trip. The breakfast situation was bad due to COVID, but not what we stayed there for. Just a stop over between Glacier NP and Yellowstone NP. There was an active Wolf Creek fire and tanker planes were taking off from the air field right next door...but it really didn't affect the stay or the quality. I'd stay here again. Very close to Costco for supplies and gas, very close to some cool restaurants and coffee shops.

Takeout breakfast wasn't too bad.

The room was clean, comfortable and affordable because Choice Hotels is running a special. There was some renovation going on but no noise. Breakfast was frozen cheese omellete, burrito, and yogurt. Staff was polite and professional. The fridge was larger than the mini. There was a microwave, but the computer/printer in the business office wasn't working.

Do not stay here!

We booked online for a two night stay. The entrance way was under construction + the whole first floor. Construction dust everywhere. Laundry room disgusting. Loud noise above and beside us late at night and early morning. Parking lot full of cigarette butts and lawn not mowed. We did not feel safe. The only thing nice was the staff who were working overtime. After booking and staying we were told by locals this was not a desired place to stay in Helena. I am shocked they are not shut down.

Poor quality

If I could give 0 stars I would. We checked in and got to the room to find NO HOT WATER! When we told the front desk person about the hot water, he said "We know and have had that problem for awhile now." Then, when we told them we were going to stay somewhere else, the front desk employee refused our refund until we spoke to the GM. Also, he charged me an extra $40 without notifying me. When I finally spoke to the GM about a refund, she refused to refund the entire amount. She refunded the room and only half of the other $40. I work for a hotel and this is NOT how a hotel should be allowed to operate!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Nice and Clean

Quiet, good location. Rooms are clean. Full Breakfast is open and they are keeping it well sanitized, clean and following guidelines but still feels like you get all the choices. Appreciated that so much!!!
