We stay here again

It appears that the facility has been updated in the past couple of years. The building and rooms are very clean and welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is basic but good.
I suggest adding a few hangers in each room and having one or two luggage racks.

Worst Management and Zero Customer Service

If you want to stay at a hotel that provides zero customer service -- this is the place for you. Management is non-existent, the front desk staff are NOT trained, and will hide out if customers request assistance. We were double charged by the reception because she was not trained on how to deal with customers who booked using Bookings.com. When we tried to address this duplicate charge - management would NOT call us or answer emails. The morning of check out the receptionist put up a sign that she would be away and list a phone number that went to voicemail. 15 customer were waiting to check out at 6AM or to get help with the pathetic breakfast. No coffee in 4 pots at 6AM and all the food was cold (even eggs) and not one person was around the food area to help support customers. Not even worth one payment let alone being charged twice for the same place. Do better Elkotel or get out of the business of customer service!

Worst ever customer service isha front desk

Worst customer service ever I made a reservation for Valentines. I showed up two hours earlier to get the room ready which I was told it was OK to do so there was going to be a $25 fee for showing up early, which is OK. no one was at the front desk. I waited for 30 minutes. I call at least 10 times I was right in the front. The phone was and ringing and nothing until I decided to walk inside to look for someone and the guy that does laundry he helped me He Call someone and it took 10 minutes after that he was a really nice guy. Isha that’s her name on the front desk. She was really rude. She told me that if I wasn’t OK or if I had a problem to cancel my reservation, she didn’t care. I was waiting for 30 minutes. I asked for her name and she told me is there going to a problem I answerer no. And she goes and call someone to get permission to cancel my reservation and after that phone call ended her whole mood change that hotel is really nice. Customer service sucks. It took me two days to get information about a room and to book it. I understand why they are not getting a lot of clients customers. It shouldn’t be like that. It should be one of the most busiest hotels and it’s not because ofthe customer service and the people they have working for them upfront worst experience ever. It really sucks that I have to say this, but it is honestly the truth. If you have any questions you can reach out to me the owner of the hotel could look at the cameras and noticed that I’m not lying. I was there waiting and waiting all alone for so long no help at all. But anyways, I hope the best for that hotel it’s really worth going to decides the bad customer service they gave you and the attitude.

Highly recommend this place

We simply loved this place. It’s perfect for a family with furry friend and kids. They keep a deposit of $50 for pet fee which is returned during checkout. The rooms are neat and clean, the bathrooms are beautiful with a heating system, the plus is to have a hand shower along with the overhead shower. The staff is extremely friendly and helping. It is reasonably priced for the amenities it provides. It was a very comfortable stay. We will surely stay here next time we are driving over Elko.

Business Trip Passing Through

The receptionist at check in was awesome. The room was very clean. The bed was ok, the sheets on the bed were uncomfortable. The TV did not work. The breakfast was minimal and bland. The coffee for us was weak. The window coverings did not fully cover the window which allowed the parking lot light to glare into the room all night.
