We had a lovely stay here. Our room was clean, updated, had a beautiful view of the lake. The pool wasnt open on the day we arrived but it was the following day. The staff was pleasant. The restaurant was great. If youre in the area, this was a great place to stay for a night or two.

What a delightful little gem of a place! The lake is lovely, the rooms are clean, the food at the lodge is good, and they even have a pickleball court. I wish we could stay another day.

We stayed at the Maple Cottage and enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake. My family and pup had a great stay, and the staff was very helpful. We’d be happy to come back!

Wedding and extra few days to relax

The room was clean and the view was amazing. When we walked through the slider onto a deck we were right at the edge of the lake. We received fresh towels daily.
The office staff, maintenance staff and other staff on property were very friendly, helpful and polite. The wedding staff was amazing! Due to extremely windy cold weather the wedding was moved inside. They set it up for the ceremony, and then broke down that setup and setup for the reception while we had cocktail Hour.
Very well done!!
As it was late in the year, as of November 4th the ice machine was off and you could not get ice.
The breakfast was minimal.
We would stay there again
The breakfast was very limited.

Our family loves this place and its the only place we will go when we visit our College student at Castleton. It is very close to the college and the tavern that is on the property is friendly with good food and reasonably priced. Our rooms are always spotless and if you need something - their service is outstanding and quick. The lake is gorgeous - such a peaceful and beautiful spot. When she graduates we will still go back!!
