Average at best

Good sized room and relatively quiet but the place felt very tired and in need of a bit of TLC. We had paid for B&B but the breakfast wasn’t great, we ended up eating out. And the use of plastic or polystyrene was criminal IMO.
The staff were nice enough but check in made a mistake of our booking so we ended up being charged twice which we’re still trying to sort out several days on.

Horrible Experience

Very disappointed in Ramkota Hotel staff in Casper, Wyoming! I had paid reservations for the 16th of July through Booking.com. When I showed up to get my room, they over booked and sold my room! The staff acted like it was normal to give me a room with a broken air conditioning instead! The room was 82 degrees. No one can sleep on a room like that! So I went back down to let them know and again they put me in another room with no air conditioning, 82 degrees again!So I went back down and asked what was going on and the girl said that these rooms had broken air conditioning units and need fixed. In addition, their pool and hot tub were both out of commission! I had been driving for 6 1/2 hours on the road and was ready to rest. By the time of changing rooms and walking back to the front desk a few times it was after 7pm and all of the other hotels that I checked with were already sold out for the night. I usually don’t complain about little things but these two girls running the front desk knew the situation about their rooms and being overbooked and lied to me. Is this normal for a hotel to do this to people? I never have paid for a room and then when I show up it’s not available! I paid through Booking.com which I am trying to get a refund from them now. I landed up driving home which was another 4 1/2 hours away. I will be contacting the someone in charge at this place! I recommend Ramkota provide these two young ladies some additional training! I do Not recommend Ramkota in Casper to anyone. Just keep driving!

Excellent

Casper Wyoming, great hotel, very clean, great service and prices. Continental breakfast was excellent. Dining I'll give it a 10.

Worst customer service! Do not book!

We reserved a block of 30 rooms at the Ramkota back in November and signed a contract, believing everything was confirmed and secure. In December, I followed up with management and was reassured that our room block was still in place. I checked again in February and received the same confirmation.
However, when our team began reserving rooms, we were not receiving confirmation numbers. I called the hotel, and once again, the manager assured me everything was fine. In March, after still not receiving confirmations, I emailed the manager yet again and was told—for the fourth time—that our rooms were good to go.
Then, just one week before our scheduled stay, I received a call from management stating that their system had “crashed” and that our entire group would be moved to a different hotel. No clear explanation was provided beyond that.
I pushed back, referencing the contract we had signed. I was told that due to a “safety concern,” they had the right to relocate us. They explained that overbooking constituted a safety concern, which was both confusing and frustrating, especially given that our reservation had been in place for months. It’s difficult to understand why our contracted group was the one displaced rather than more recent bookings.
While they did relocate us to a hotel with similar rates, it was on the opposite side of town and far less convenient for our event at the Ford Wyoming Center.
Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. Despite multiple confirmations over several months, our reservation was not honored. I would strongly caution others when booking here, as our experience showed that even a signed contract and repeated assurances may not guarantee your stay.
