My first shared bathroom experience exceeded expectations!

First time experience with shared bathroom in hall and it was totally fine. The room was extremely comfortable. Everyone employee I encountered was super professional and nice. Great location - easy to walk to many places you would walk to.

Too Small and Noisy for Two Guests

The reception area was pleasant, but the room was far too small for two people, with very limited space to move around or store luggage and clothes. Some of the electrical outlets did not work, and our room was not cleaned at any point during our four-night stay. At night, we could hear water moving through the pipes, as well as another recurring mechanical noise similar to an electric toothbrush.
The shower itself was fine, but the bathroom layout was extremely cramped. I had to close the shower door before I could open the bathroom door. The toilet’s automatic flush sensor also activated repeatedly while I was drying myself, so I had to cover the sensor temporarily.
Considering the room size, lack of storage, nighttime noise, absence of housekeeping and maintenance issues, I did not feel the stay offered good value for the price. I would not choose to stay here again.

Giving 4 out of 5 for two things: 1) did not enjoy the curtain that separates the shower from the toilet in my private room and 2) a little further out from main areas that you'd have to walk more vs. taking public transportation (also depending where you're coming from). Consider an extra 5 minutes to the main parts of Boston when visiting but honestly, not a bad walk. General building was nice and tidy, staff was prompt and nice. A little coffee shop also accessible inside of the hotel lobby.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay

Very good location...fairly close walks to Boston Common and public transportation. The restroom down the hall arrangement was better than expected. Privacy and cleanliness were top notch. Imagine five private bathrooms in on large bathroom hub. Our room was small, but the bed was comfortable and the TV was good. We were easily able to access our own Netflix account. Also a variety of other options via Dish TV. We did not eat at the restaurant site but it looked to be a very lively, happening place. A converted hostel, this hotel isn't fancy or upscale but it is certainly comfortable and convenient.

I made a clear mistake trying to get a room in the middle of the night at 11:55 PM but they tell me I can’t get into my room until 10 in the morning so I tried to go back in the app to fix the date so I can get the hotel at night and they did not refund my money, but told me they are going to refund my money horrible experience for me when I live in Newport News, Virginia and was in Boston on vacation
