Management turned a problem into a positive experience

I had stayed at Hotel 43 many times before and always liked the hotel, especially the downtown location and the convenience of being attached to Chandlers. On this stay, however, I had an issue with the air conditioning the first night, and although it improved after I brought it to the hotel’s attention, it still wasn’t completely resolved the second night.
When I checked out, I explained how disappointed I was and said I probably would not stay again. What happened afterward completely changed my impression. Ben, the General Manager, personally called me, let me know that my stay had been fully comped, and offered me a complimentary future night so I would give the hotel another try. I had not asked for either of those things.
Problems can happen at any hotel. What matters is how management responds when they do. Hotel 43 handled this as well as they possibly could and turned a very disappointing experience into a positive one. I appreciate the way they stood behind the guest experience, and I will absolutely continue to stay there when in Boise.

HOTEL 43 SAVED OUR ANNIVERSARY! Clean, modern, welcoming and comfortable! We had drinks and a few appetizers at Chandlers next door, fabulous!! We will stay there again.
But…
We were originally book at Red Lion down the street, it was SOOO GROSS AND DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS.

A Great Anniversary Present to Us

Spent our anniversary day/night there. It is very classy, nicely decorated and comfortable. Fantastic location, adjacent to the best restaurant in Idaho and walking distance to many spots of interest

We just love this hotel. The staff from valet to the front desk are all so nice. The rooms are great and quiet. The upgraded rooms are even better!

Great downtown location!

Hotel was right next to the Boise center/grove plaza. We loved staying here during the Big Sky tournament. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrive so they said they’d call when it was ready but unfortunately the phone calls never went through for some reason. When u checked back in they got us right up to our room. The rooms were clean and spacious.
