Great service

The front desk manager did a great job when I first walked in helped us with everything. Although I didn't get her name she was awesome.
Went for a quick breakfast in the morning, honestly best service I ever got. Francisco did an awesome job as an one man army. Don't know how anyone can top this experience. Awesome job man, keep it up!

The construction noise was terrible. The way the hotel handled it was worse.

The hotel is renting rooms on only one floor while all the other floors are under active construction. That was not disclosed to me until after I arrived, and management had no concern for how incredibly disruptive those conditions are for guests paying for what should be a peaceful hotel room.

The noise directly above my room was so extreme that I could not rest after a 12-hour trip.
The real issue, however, was the repeated minimizing and dishonesty I experienced when I complained. I ultimately had to play staff a recording from inside my room before they stopped disputing how severe the noise actually was.
What should have been a simple customer-service issue became the worst hotel experience I have had in decades of travel. Instead of acknowledging the conditions and helping me relocate, I was repeatedly dismissed and ultimately told I was free to leave and find another hotel on a Friday night in Austin, Texas. No assistance was offered.
To add insult to injury, the General Manager later followed up with a response that was just as disappointing. Rather than acknowledging how poorly the situation had been handled or expressing meaningful concern for what a longtime guest had experienced, her response was cold, dismissive, and seemingly more concerned with defending the hotel than addressing the underlying problem.
I had a long history with the Austin Southpark Hotel, which makes this experience even more disappointing. The construction will eventually end. My loss of trust in this hotel's management will not.

Late Night, 5-Star Hospitality!

Huge shoutout to Monica on the night shift at the front desk! Her bright red hair makes her easy to spot, but it’s her incredible professionalism and kindness that truly stand out. Even late at night, she helped me with everything I needed, all with a genuine smile. Thank you, Monica, for making my stay so wonderful!

Glad I Stayed at Austin Southpark!

I love this classic hotel with marble, brass and oak, ginormous 3-part pool and fully equipped fitness center! They are currently renovating which they were very upfront about and I know it’ll be improved but I hope it doesn’t lose its classic charm! Staff from the front desk to housekeeping is top notch, friendly and helpful!

Personal service exists during hotel renovation

Although the hotel is undergoing renovation and some services are not available, the staff here really go to lengths to deliver personal service. Catiana at the front desk and Francisco in the restaurant are exceptional employees.
