The property is very clean and well-appointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, particularly the evening front desk attendants. My only real complaint is the charge for parking. There is an option for free street parking on the far side of the hotel, but to park in the lot and garage directly in front of the building costs $10 a night. There is simply no reason for this at a suburban chain hotel except for greed.

It was ok there. Asked for do not disturb placard. Front desk said they would bring up. Never got one.

Not up to Marriott standards
Going on day 4 of our stay and still no housekeeping. Had to beg for towels and more toilet paper. Staff seem indifferent. Older lady who works the bar area was nice enough but easily overwhelmed when there are two or more customers waiting.

I arrived late at night to check in and the front desk attendant didn't greet me nicely. He just said - "I need your ID and card." It was not a warm welcome after a really long travel day. I also didn't appreciate needing to pay for parking at the hotel. I would have used the free parking down the road but it was very late and I sensed a sketchy area so I didn't want to walk alone for my safety. It was also raining. The fire alarm went off very early in the morning. I went to the lobby in my pajamas and waited with the other guests. The staff didn't address us or let us know the issue was being solved. They didn't even tell us if it was a real fire or not. While the alarm was going off, I got a coffee and muffin from the cafe. It would have been nice if we were given free coffee as a courtesy for the extremely unpleasant morning. The muffin was not warmed all the way through and the inside custard was cold. I did not enjoy my experience and would likely not book again.

The staff was fine and the room was fine, but I was disappointed that there was no tub. The listing said Tub or shower, and I wasn't asked or told there was no tub in that room. I was too exhausted to ask for a different room.
I also do not think you should be charging extra for parking. There is nowhere else to park but in the garage, and there is also nothing at all nearby to qualify for a need to protect the parking space from outsiders. Felt a bit like extortion to be told upon check-in that you have to pay for parking when there were about 10 cars total in the entire garage.
Additionally, the fire alarm went off at 6:30 a.m. (not the hotel's fault!) because some fool was smoking in their room, but guests should have been offered a refund on the parking or a free breakfast (you also have to pay for breakfast!) for the nasty inconvenience of being woken up at 6:30 and having to vacate. Luckily, it hadn't started snowing out yet!
The mini Starbucks in the lobby is nice and the hotel room was clean. Elevators and stairwells should be much better marked. The Stairwell simply says Exit and you cannot see the elevator sign from down the hall. All of this was vital info when trying to vacate the building during the fire alarm (and as I was sleepy, I momentarily forgot that you shouldn't use an elevator in case of a fire).
