Beautiful them, beautiful everything!

Chosen this place as the starting point of the journey to Santiago. The rooms are small and not very large but equipped with all the essential comforts is perfectly soundproofed by the festive noise of the characteristic Plaza de la Eglesia. Everything was spotless.
On the ground floor a characteristic tapas bar where I could taste the best coffee of Galicia muy pequeno as we like.
Very friendly and kind family management always ready to meet your needs and requirements that I thank heartily for everything.

Ok stay, good location but not as friendly as others

The hotel is located very centrally near cafés and restaurants overlooking a lovely town square with a little old church, very picturesque. Our room was painted a bright and cheery colour and someone had made a big effort to make it cosy, but it was very tiny with hardly room to move around the bed. There was a small but very clean ensuite with bath, shower and toilet.
We were briefly met by our host who gave us a key and then left. Unfortunately the little pub downstairs was not open the day we stayed, so we felt very confined and isolated in our small room with no common area to enjoy or socialise, or make a drink etc. At night returning to our room the light and wifi weren't working and we had no way of contacting anyone to get it fixed. Didn't have the same friendly feel as some of our other homestays had and we didn't feel overly welcome.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Not a good place to rest in the frontal rooms to the square, it's impossible to sleep. They should advise mainly when people travel with little kids... noisy, specially when people demand that in the arrival. I paid 2 nights in the arrival with breakfast included (and warm water for baby bottle) and guess what? They only open near 12 am the bar... The woman was rude and said that she would give back the money, but she did not and also i had to require de invoice, because she did not intend to give it.

No hot water

Very basic and simple hostel with the small room and its own private bathroom, I paid 30 Euro.
The surprise was in the morning when I was in the shower and hot water would not come out. Thankfully it was a hot day and a cold shower was not so bad.

Bad experience

went to this hostal around midday for a one night stay. Booked and paid prior to arriving, when we arrived and spoke to the manager regarding keeping our bags in the room during the day. He was very quick to tell me that the hostal and all rooms are never locked and he was so rude and made us so unwelcomed that I informed him that I wouldn't be staying. I think he was pleased because he already had my money, and this place has a 4.5 star rating. You gave to be kidding . I cancelled and I would suggest if you are thinking of booking this place you may have similar problems. This was a very bad experience
