School Group

The Venue Hostel hosted my school group wonderfully during their stay in Valencia. Angie from the group bookings team arranged everything for us, including meals. The kids had a great time in the en-suite rooms of 10 and the adults had private rooms. Everything was clean, the hostel felt safe and was quiet. The food was great - Angie even arranged packed lunches for the childre to take to the Oceanografic. It was closeby to metro stations which the group used to visit a local school. The rooms and meals were great value which was super important for us as we were on a budget.
I would 100% use the Venue Hostel again, and will be my first choice for my next school group's accommodaton in Valencia.

I'm not going back to a hostel after this...

I had had a very positive experience in a hostel in Seville and in the wake of that experience I thought I still felt good about it. The only positive note: the helpful and well behaved staff. For the rest, let's forget: Old rooms and beds, lockers that now open with a nail. Insufficient bathrooms and kitchen / dining area absolutely to forget...
It is also located in an area far from the attractions of the center and I would say also infamous and with little (if not ZERO nightlife)
After this experience, I will never go to a hostel again... 20 euros more, but believe me they are earned... I put 2 balls just because the staff was up to it. But enough, insufficient structure

Amazing place

Very friendly staff, the place was nice and cozy, the garden is beautiful for this winter season, totally recommended place

not good

the hostel was not good for many reasons :
1. when we came back late at night there was no body in the reception (which supposed to for 24H) and they didn't tell us the password to the gate so we had to wait outside .
2. the showers were very bad. now water pressure and almost impossible to shower also hard to control the temperature
3. our room lock sometimes simply didn't work
4. also the hostel had many older people. won't recommend for young travelers who are looking to meet people.
5. the room doors were very loud which made it hard to come back without making noise
also I need to say the we were there during the fallas festival which made it surprising that they weren't in a good condition
