A home away from home
The owners/staff are great people and really made me feel at home. When the hostel became quiet, they invited me various times to join them for drinks and food.
Facilities are basic but do cover everything you need.
The rooms come with very large lockers for your valuable items. 4 showers each for ladies/gents proved to be sufficient and never had to wait. There is daily cleaning of all bed- and bathrooms making for a clean space all the time.
Suggestions for the next round of improvements/renovation would be the addition of privacy curtains to the bed and better located i.e. individual electrity outlets per bed.

Good choice!
The hostel is clean - the negative side is that there are 4 showers (for each sex) in the same room and two toilets for everyone which means that if the hostel is full - as it happened to me, in the evenijng after the beach it gets crowed and crazy to get a shower.
The room was fine with safe lockers and clean. It was what I expected and the AC was working. There was also enough space for everyone so I didn't feel unconfortable.
The hostel has a kitchen always open and also a bar that offers drinks and breakfast with toasts for 2 euros.
I think if you plan to stay in Tarifa, enjoy the beaches, going to the restaurants or party it's perfet. Maybe I would not recommend it for people who wants to rest, it would be better to take somethijng outside the city center.

First and last time in a Hostal for me
There is barely any air in here thanks to only having 2 very small windows, aircon which doesn't work and it smells as the rooftop next door has about 20-30 pigeon coops.
Location is great for being central but it's opposite a really popular nightclub and in front of a church (bells ringing at 9am)
Showers and toilets were tiny, you had to stand at the side of the toilet bowl to be able to close the door.
To be fair this was my first time staying in an Hostal so maybe they are all this bad. I'm just thankful we were only staying one night :)
