Well, acceptable.
The hotel was good, the room was spacious and quiet, the television had no sound, and the bathtub was slippery (be very careful).

**One of the worst hotel experiences in Spain — stay away**
As someone who has traveled extensively all across Spain, this has to be by far one of the most disgusting, disappointing, and overrated "hotels" I have ever experienced. To start with a serious forewarning, it is situated in a terrible part of Zaragoza that feels very unsafe to walk around.
The room itself was claustrophobic, described best as the size of a shoebox. We were given an interior room that looked out onto a nasty, rusted metal stairwell used as a fire escape. The drapes were filthy, the blackout shades had tears all over them, and the old locks made the doors—which are paper-thin—feel completely untrustworthy.
Speaking of thin walls, the soundproofing is non-existent. You can hear every conversation from the rooms next door and across the hall as if the people are standing right inside your room. To cap off the night, I had the "luxury" of listening to a couple have loud s*x for an hour and a half.
Hygiene was a major issue. The towels were dirty and disgusting, as was the bathtub and shower. To top it all off, the restaurant—if you can even call it that—was rarely open and looked so poor that I didn't dare try it, nor did I want to pay an extra charge for what would clearly have been a disappointment.
The place apparently bills itself as a convention hotel, though I cannot imagine any legitimate company hosting an event there. Old and dilapidated even by Spanish standards. Was like a brothel.

Very basic could do with a bit of work but clean and fine for an overnight stop and sleep kind of trip

Little empathy from the receptionist.
Reception was terrible.
I am spending the weekend at the hotel; I am leaving tomorrow at 8:00 AM and we just arrived at 9:00 PM to take a shower and go to dinner. We are thirsty, and the other friends who are staying here tell us that there is complimentary water in the fridge. There is none in our room, so I will go down to ask for water. The solution is that tomorrow the housekeepers will give it to me... I don't know at what time because we are leaving very early. I tell the girl and the solution is... there is a supermarket next door but it closes at 9:00 PM and tomorrow is Sunday. Embarrassing is an understatement. Instead of... don't worry, I will look for two and in 20 minutes you will have them downstairs... that is asking too much.
I won't even comment on the neighborhood, which is lovely... but the hotel is not to blame for that.
I am not asking for preferential treatment or anything, but just a little empathy... which apparently is something luxurious that is no longer extended.

Don't stay here if it hot!
First the positive. The front counter staff is wonderful and were very helpful. It was hot and lobby was nicely air conditioned. Got to the room it was extremely warm. Turned on the air conditioner, nothing came out but warm air. Finally asked front counter, they had us changed rooms. Very slightly better only because the curtains were closed. This hotel claims to have air conditioned rooms, they do not. It blows warm air out of the central unit. If you need a cool room, like my wife needs, this is not the place to stay. Luckily the front desk got us a fan for our room, which made it so we could get some sleep. We felt trapped. Do not stay her when it warm. One room had coffee maker next room did not. Curtain in both rooms were horrible shape. Toilet seat was broken in 2nd room. Worst stay of our trip. 2 nite stay.
