Everything worked well and my stay was smooth. Having a pool was great addition to my stay. Only minus was that rooms werent soundproofed and you could hear the hallway noices and neighbouring rooms sometimes.

Warm and Welcoming

We stayed here as a group at the end of our Camino pilgrimage, for two nights. Warm and welcoming, clean rooms, helpful staff, delicious breakfast. Big cool uncrowded pool, just what we needed after hot walking.

Good HQ

Overall the Peregrino is a good hotel. It was clean, well organised, quiet and the staff were efficient, and I would stay again. The pool is a huge bonus and it was a handy 10 minute walk to the start of the tourist/old town area. There was also some good value eateries/bars close by. There was always outside space for sunbathing or lounging under the shade of a tree in the garden area. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and replenished regularly and there was always housekeeping staff around upstairs near the bedrooms. The reception was well staffed and multilingual, if a little less gregarious than other counterparts I have engaged with. I did not dine in the evening but there we several eateries close by if one was stuck.
Despite all this there was an issue that may be of interest to some.
I stayed with a friend and it was quite tricky to arrange a twin room (2 beds). I cancelled the original booking because of this and rebooked, upgrading the room. This still did not guarantee twin beds. This may be an issue with the 3rd party booking site. The result being that we did not know if we had a twin without upgrading twice, which I was unwilling to do as it made the price prohibitive.
I would return and could recommend the hotel, If you are finishing a Camino, the pool will be a huge selling point to sooth the weary bones.

Very good hotel

Well located hotel.
Room well appointed. Bathroom with excellent shower and complimentary products of good quality. Safe available with a refundable deposit of €10. Large terrace with table and chairs and could easily have accommodated some loungers which would've been great as this was a real suntrap.
Good large pool. Enough loungers by the pool or in garden area.
Breakfast as expected. Hot options not really hot and limited.
15 minute walk to historic area.
From airport you can get the 6A bus for €1 to the central bus/train station, then a 10 minute walk or €5 taxi ride to hotel. Alternatively €25 in a taxi from the airport.

The room was clean on arrival and every day there after. Staff were very hard working. Hotel was in a great location and breakfast was very enjoyable.
