Outstanding hotel, Fabulous setting and brilliant staff.
I dreamt of staying at this hotel for many years as I adore the nearby beach and swam there over 25 years. We had a house in the area so the hotel was not an option. From the moment we drove in it was better than I had anticipated. Fabulous friendly greeting, good free parking and great amenities. The room looked over the Bay of Roses so we enjoyed glorious sunsets. Trrrific food choices included ample breakfast. The staff were quite fantastic and we had a marvellous stay.

Stunning view!
Hotel with a breathtaking location. The sea view is superb. You descend easily to two beautiful beaches with crystal clear colors. Great service breakfast lunch dinner. Beautiful swimming pool. The rooms are unfortunately not up to scratch. The wood material looks a bit old. The bathrooms are definitely nicer. A minibar is missing. The service is excellent. They are all extremely professional and kind.
The small sauna (for a fee) is pleasant but really small. The jacuzzi absolutely to be renovated. Hotel that has a certain cost. Perhaps a little elevated. But it's really worth the sea view. Spectacular!

I have mentioned it before
We booked a triple room. Instead of giving us a room with three adult beds, they gave us a double bed and an extra bed that did not qualify as an adult bed. They placed it under a cupboard to leave the television... We asked them to resolve it, and they gave us a room with two rooms inside. The problem was that the room I stayed in did not have air conditioning and faced a tiny interior courtyard where the window could not be opened. The air conditioning was only in the other room. It seems to me that for what they charge and the service they provide, it makes them lose a star.

Lovely welcoming hotel
Beautiful headland location overlooking the Bay of Roses and Almadabra beach. The beach sandy and clean and is accessed directly by steps down from the hotel. The beach was not crowded in June.
The hotel is not huge and is extremely well maintained and staff were, without exception, warm and welcoming. Our room had a super kingsize bed fridge, good air conditioning and a spacious balcony.
Breakfast consisted of a good cold buffet but with eggs cooked to order and pancakes.
In my opinion the main restaurant tried a bit too hard to offer a non mainstream menu which I thought didn’t work well for the prices asked. Drinks and service, both excellent.
The alternative snack bar food was disappointing both for its menu, portions and pricing.
Overall we enjoyed the hotel (in June) and would recommend it.

ALMADRAMA
Arrival on Saturday. Reception went well, room was already accessible. Offer to take the suitcases to the rooms was not made. The room was familiar, we had booked it twice before.
We noticed that the large pool was not filled with (sea ) water. The reception was told that the pool would be operational again on Monday.
Monday no filled pool. However, repair work. A few more days mistaken and then complaining. The answer was : the problems are bigger than expected, about the whole pool floor has to be opened and we started with that. So that was accompanied by drilling, jackhammering, sawing from early morning to late afternoon.
As compensation we received a 10% discount on our booked hotel stay. Until 13 days later when we left the entire floor of the pool was still open so the next few weeks the hotel guests will have to do without a pool. Incidentally, the pool had been empty for at least two weeks before our arrival. Especially the lack of any information was typical. Those who ask nothing will hear nothing seems to be the motto. How unprofessional can you be as a hotel owner.
The air conditioning in the hotel room did not work from day one. Reported , reported again. We'll check, and then you won't hear anything again.
The day before departure the air conditioning worked again after many sleepless nights. The settlement at check-out went wrong, surprise! No 10% discount but 1 night as compensation. That was about € 70,= too little. The tourist tax, which had already been paid at the time of booking, was again on the bill. The management with whom the appointment was made has not shown itself during this process.
Breakfast is sublime and dinner (at hefty prices) a feast. Half board is not possible.
Another piece of advice:
Do not turn off the electricity after cleaning the room. The fridge no longer works and there are guests like me who need to keep medicines cool.
A standard comment below the review on Tripadvisor is very transparent and will not impress the experienced traveler.
