I highly recommend
Perfect location near the wonderful dunes. Spacious apartment - bedroom, living room with kitchen. Bathroom . Equipment that fully meets your needs. Clean and tidy. Staff smiling and very helpful. I heartily recommend it.

We had a really disappointing experience at Horizonte Apartments and feel it’s important to warn other guests about what happened.
The apartment itself was lovely — clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, our stay was completely overshadowed by a very serious security incident.
At around 5:30am on 20 August, my husband and I were asleep in the apartment when we heard someone trying to get in through the living-room/poolside patio door. A male was pulling on the door, apparently attempting to gain entry while we were inside and asleep. My husband heard the disturbance and opened the curtain, at which point the man ran away.
This was extremely frightening. We didn’t leave because of a general concern about crime in the area — we left because someone had actually attempted to enter our apartment while we were asleep. After that, we simply did not feel safe staying there.
What made the situation even more upsetting was the response from management. When I contacted them about what had happened, I was initially told that there were cameras on the property and I asked for the relevant footage. Shortly afterwards, I was told that there were no cameras covering the area. The conflicting information was very concerning, especially after such a serious incident.
We reported what happened to the local police and, because we no longer felt safe, we had to leave Horizonte and pay for alternative hotel accommodation for the final two nights of our stay. We also lost the cost of those two unused nights at Horizonte.
We have contacted the property to request a refund for the two nights we couldn't use, as well as reimbursement for the additional hotel costs we had to pay because of the incident. So far, we have received no response.
It is incredibly disappointing because, as I said, the apartment itself was good. But for us, safety has to come first. What happened was frightening enough, but the lack of reassurance, the conflicting information about security cameras and the lack of response regarding our additional costs have made the whole experience even worse.
I’m posting this because I genuinely want other guests to know what happened before deciding whether to stay here. I would rather warn people and let them make an informed decision than have someone else experience what we did.

Accommodation would have more potential in principle, but based on the experiences described, I would absolutely not recommend it
Good location (short distance to the beach, restaurants, shopping, shops, promenade, dunes), good parking on the street, cleaning staff (only Spanish speaking) and "caretaker", both very friendly and helpful, kitchen equipment OK (good fridge with freezer compartment, fruit press, microwave complicated without instructions), cleaning good, interior narrow and impractical layout, pool unheated (too cold in November), no air conditioning (necessary in summer, OK in November)
now the extremely negative (main reason for the rating): location of the apartments very different (visibility e.g. from neighboring hotels, some without sun, only in the dark or shade), sometimes very noisy due to the surroundings (usually until midnight), drain in kitchen partly blocked, shower in bathroom cold for several days, bed partly broken (squeaks even when moving normally), one day huge puddle of water in the hallway outside the room (was not removed), security in the complex not guaranteed (several break-ins, also during our stay with neighbors, safes and contents broken open or removed !!!, police and forensics were there, but no information from the tour guide or hotel management),
Hotel description (from their own homepage) does not correspond to reality, e.g. opening times of the reception 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (from additional information, not from the hotel management) is it closed on Sundays and Fridays? When we arrived (on a Thursday, when the reception should be open) we stood in front of the locked facility and only got our room key with the help of the cleaner and a complicated phone call in Spanish.
Main point of criticism (partly already described): the reception!!!
only one person (so with the cleaner and caretaker I only met 3 people), not particularly friendly (but that's a matter of taste and not the problem), but above all very rarely there!!!, reception very often closed (also between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., therefore no access to travel information from the organizers, folders, etc.). Also no information about when it will be open again.
It's a disgrace: We didn't get our deposit for the safe (€10) back because the reception was closed for 3 days (but it wasn't announced). The cleaner wanted to help, but it didn't work, she just said that the woman at the reception "was on vacation"!!!
I have already published several reviews of hotels and the like (sometimes less positive, sometimes more positive), but the review of the Apartementos Horizonte (although not everything is bad) is unfortunately very bad due to various criticisms (especially regarding the reception). I have never experienced a reception like this on many trips!

Do not stay here
Me and my husband didn’t like this hotel. The standard in the rooms was at a 2 or 3 from a scale from 0-10. They didn’t clean it properly. The lady in the reception was very unwelcoming and not helpful or warm at all unfortunately. It made our stay less joyful. It was noisy from the beach area from noon to late at night which isn’t the hotels fault but it can be good for other guests to know. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Great place to Relax..New Bed Sofás..update recepción .No damages in the rooms at all ..nice terrace .Outstading location .amazing sights... Avalaible cable Tv..Free wifi. Really nice Workers..
