Lovely, Intimate, and Quiet Boutique Hotel

We picked this boutique hotel primarily for its quiet location, access to city transit options and its historic charm. We loved the decor, the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was good. We like our room with a balcony and easy access to the pool. It was early May, when we went, a little too cool to be able to use it. Next time! We appreciated the sandwiches and snacks made for us to take with us to the airport.

Excellent room, excellent staff.
Located in a residential area 20 min walk from the old town. Parking available but best suited for a small car.

Excellent hospitality during my stay at the can quetlas.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Couldn’t do enough to help me and mae my stay as pleasant as possible.

Narrow streets + open hearts

There's great customer service, there's above and beyond customer service, and there's "I'm getting in the car with you and helping you find a place to park because these are narrow streets and we're doing this together" customer service. And the last one is what I got at Can Quetglas.
Sergio was my hero, helping me navigate two different parking options (one I couldn't fit my car in, and a second where he moved a car to make way for me to park). He was super friendly and thorough with my check-in experience and shared some good food recommendations in the local area.
The hotel is pretty nice! There are a good amount of pros, and some things to consider based on your own preferences, so let's get into them.
Pros
+ Small, boutique hotel with about 12ish rooms, an eating area, and a small private pool with lounge chairs for sunbathing
+ Quiet street, rarely saw many people or heard much noise from my room or on the block
+ Close freeway access for those wanting to use this as a home base and explore different parts of the island
+ Rustic vibe with modern amenities (all the plugs you'll need)
+ AC *and* ceiling fan - cooling off was never a problem
+ The neighborhood feels more local than touristy but still has anything you could need (restaurants, cafes, coffee, markets, etc).
Things to consider
- Location is a good distance from the city centre, about 30-40min walk; when it's 38C/100F out, I ended up taking a taxi instead of walking because it was just too hot
- The streets are very narrow in this area, so I'd stick with smaller cars if you have one (both for driving and parking spaces)

The most boutique of boutique perfectly aesthetic in every way, we stayed here for our honeymoon and rented a car. We loved every minute and cant wait to be back. The staff were all lovely and helpful.
