PERFECT
With a Wonderbox gift card, two nights. The place is spectacular, the room is magnificent, but above all, the staff is spectacular. It was a great decision to go.

Pleasant but not idyllic
Positive points to highlight:
-Perfect for one or two nights, no more.
-Very nice location, surrounded by nature and without annoying city noise.
-If you want to visit the Ribeira Sacra area, you are very close by car, although keep in mind that the location is not right in the heart of Ribeira Sacra. The accommodation is located very close and parallel to the N-120, making it easily accessible, but if you expect to be in the heart of Ribeira Sacra, this is not your place.
-The accommodation is half an hour by car from the center of Orense, so if you want to travel to the city, you are close.
-The accommodation offers the option to dine there, with a reasonably priced menu, and if the weather permits, dining outside on the terrace is a very good option to relax and unwind from the day while enjoying the silence of nature.
-It has a small pool that allows you to sunbathe in complete tranquility.
-The size of the rooms is good,
-An establishment that has been renovated while maintaining the traditional essence of the house, with a very pleasant English-inspired decor.
-In addition to the outdoor terrace, there is a small balcony on the second floor where you can also spend some time quietly looking directly at nature.
-It is appreciated that breakfast is included since there is nothing around; it is acceptable, although do not expect something abundant: they serve you coffee with milk, orange juice, toast, a piece of fruit, and a small piece of cake.
-The staff deserves a 10 for attention, super attentive and pleasant!
Negative points to consider:
-Limited parking; you must park on the road.
-The views shown in the photos do not correspond to those from the rooms; not all have river views; if you get the rooms on the first floor with vegetation, you cannot see the river, and those on the second floor will have some view, but it is not a clear or charming view like the photos.
-The hotel is a restored house that respects the structure and characteristics quite well; among them, the wooden floors are maintained, and if you stay on the first floor, keep in mind that you will hear the footsteps from the rooms above.
-Breakfast is quite improvable; a little more quantity would be good, or adding some basics like yogurt with cereal, for example, and at least one piece of fruit per person or a more generous portion of cake.
-It is a pleasant stay for one night; it is nice, but do not expect anything romantic, special, or idyllic.

The room: with beautiful views, clean, but not working properly the lock inside the room so each time you went in to close it was complicated because it stayed open and opened from outside; the hard pillow and very low; the right breakfast; dinner: we only had dinner one day, ordered mixed sandwich and French tortilla, in the sandwich the bread was toast with half a small slice of york ham that did not even cover all the bread and the cheese only covered half the bread so it was like eating only bread and the tortilla of a single egg; we did not dine there again.

De haberlo notificado en recepción en su momento, nuestro equipo de mantenimiento lo habría resuelto de inmediato o le habríamos ofrecido una alternativa, ya que la tranquilidad y la seguridad de nuestros huéspedes es una prioridad absoluta.
Respecto a su experiencia en el restaurante, nos resulta sorprendente su comentario sobre la preparación de los platos. En nuestra cocina trabajamos con estándares estrictos de calidad y gramajes definidos para cada receta, asegurando que las raciones correspondan siempre a lo estipulado en nuestra carta. No obstante, tomamos nota de sus observaciones para revisar de forma interna que los procesos se hayan cumplido rigurosamente esa noche.

The Sacred Bank is beautiful, from start to finish. The Hotel is different from what you see in the photos. Fegular cleansing
The hotel is very quiet, in the middle of nature and the sound of water is wonderful. The room is very small and without terrace. Not as seen in the pictures. Of the 5 days we stayed, we didn’t get changed for a single day, we didn’t even clean the floor. We were touched on the second floor, no elevator. Not suitable for people with low mobility as was my case. Breakfast was good. And dinner, although the menu is small, was worth it. To stay at the hotel after walking the viewpoints and the routes we did for the day. We have to thank and much the treatment we received from Marta, she was in the afternoon until she had just given dinner. Thank you so much, Marta, for being so close, loving and resolute. For your advice and for treating us like we've known each other our whole lives. Always with a smile and worried about everyone. We hope to match you again. Thank you.

Embarrassing.
A friend of mine had two rooms Reservation for the 2nd of September through a Smartbox chest "Night Romantica " with one night included for two people, and since her mail did not work she asked me on her behalf to confirm her reservation. I called the hotel several times and at different times to the contact phone without getting an answer. Once I got in touch with the hotel manager named Anthony and providing him with all the details, he tells me that he has no Reservation in that name and also that the minimum stay is two nights. I tell you that is a deception since those are not the conditions offered in the chest or on the web. What you can't do is offer one thing and then they put others apart, because then it's denounceable. Your answer is : it is high season and the minimum stay is 2 3 nights and then cancel the Reservation made and remove the name of the hotel Remanso Dos Patos from the chest. Embarrassing.
