Original hotel in an old mill

This is an original hotel in an old mill next to a river. Inside you can see parts of the mill. They gave us their best room and it was very beautiful with wooden beams and rustic and original decoration. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. As a suggestion I would say that the breakfast could be a little more complete since apart from the drinks, they only offered some sweet or salty toast.

Horrible!!!!!

While the setting and the hotel seem idyllic in the photos, the disappointment only grows afterward: the room is just barely acceptable, no water upon arrival, a broken showerhead, and no air conditioning, so a night with little to no sleep. The restaurant on the ground floor is to be avoided: breakfast is advertised for 8:00 AM, and at 8:15 AM we are still waiting for someone to serve us. On the other hand, the flies are definitely present at that hour . As for the evening meal, it is all fast food, canned goods, and definitely not "homemade." In the end, nothing on the plates and a steep bill....
To summarize: this place is to be avoided!!!!!!!

Punctuality

Punctuality, it was left to arrive at 9 for breakfast and at 10 we had to go to breakfast in the village because it had not yet arrived , one of the rooms without towels and dirty and the owner leaves at 11 at night with which not even be able to order it, it seems expensive for the Service that gives and when it stays an hour do not have you waiting, I do not recommend it

Surreal

The experience started well, the place is quiet and nice, the surroundings too. Clean, quiet room and comfortable bed. It is very well located to visit different places of interest.
The hotel closes at night, the owner asks what time you want to have breakfast the next day (if you have included breakfast) but at the time of truth it is more than half an hour late.
But most surreal of all, was when we arrived at the hotel after spending the whole day outside, and we agreed with other customers who were entering our room, because they had also given it to them and had made use of it while we were away, After showing them that we shared that room because they also did not give credit, we called the owner, apologized to us and the thing did not go further. But given the circumstances, although we may all make mistakes, we will not return to the hotel and I think I can not give you more notice.

tucked away a little gem

we spent one night here on our way down to Costa Blanca - early JAnuary
the hotel was so welcoming -
we had dinner - it was excellent and cooked with care and love
their English was not great - so the chef came out from he kitchen with translator app to make sure my husbands Argentian steak was cooked just as he liked it -
and it was perfect
an amazing value night - delicious meal and kind caring hotel staff
