Excellent hotel in a beautiful village

We spent 4 nights in this charming hotel located in the village of Monells superb place to discover this beautiful region of the Costa Brava , ideally located inland with crazy charms , porch of many small villages just as beautiful and especially that of Pubol where is located Gala Castle house (wife of salvador dali ) to visit.
The welcome is very warm and the small size of the establishment makes you feel right at home in an old building very well renovated and maintained, even if most of the rooms are in the modern adjoining building and particularly well integrated.
The room in this building is very nice, clean, spacious, and overlooks a terrace facing a garden: quiet and green: relaxing.
The bedding is particularly comfortable and the bed super king size: you sleep superbly.
Private parking right in front of the hotel, possibility to put your bikes in a small box provided for this purpose: very convenient especially since there are multiple hiking trails by bike from this village particularly well indicated and easy to discover the surroundings: it is recommended to do so.
Every comfort is available for a great stay.
The breakfast is very good, only small reproach: we were not many to visit the hotel and therefore the diversity of choices for breakfast was not renewed enough especially after the highest number of visitors at the weekend.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, the one that occupies its premises is independent: the monki , it offers a mix of Asian/Spanish cuisine: not convincing considering the price , there is better around.
In any case here is an address that we will remember for a future stay in Catalonia.

PERFECTION IN A HOTEL

We stayed at the Hotel Arcs de Monells and the experience was simply spectacular. The hotel is beautiful, with a special charm that fits perfectly with the medieval village of Monells. Everything is careful to detail: the rooms are spacious, clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and always willing to help everything. They make you feel at home from the get-go. The tranquility of the place is ideal to disconnect and relax really.
Breakfast is excellent, with quality products and varied options. In addition, the location is perfect for walking around the village and discovering amazing corners.
Definitely a 100% recommended hotel. We'd come back without thinking. A magical place for a perfect getaway.

The Hotel Arcs de Monells combines comfort and beauty: the rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. In addition, the owners are charming and make you feel part of their family, which makes the stay very special. We will definitely come back, and that is only adults makes it wonderful for a romantic getaway

Everything perfect, the fantastic hotel, impeccable Service, very friendly, amazing breakfast, wonderful pool, lots of tranquility, a great experience and highly recommended to rest in an environment such as the village of Monells and the baix emporda
