Everything was brand new and top quality and the 2 cleaners were very attentive with anything we needed

Highly Disappointing - Not as Advertised
I will start off by saying that the property was in a good location. It was about a 10-15min walk from Old Town and set just off the main promenade along the beach, close to lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was a good size with potential to be a very nice little room. Unfortunately, as I'll explain next, that is where the positives ended.
The Pool: We selected this property specifically because the listing advertised the pool opening on 1 June. However, it was completely closed and locked for maintenance during our entire stay. When I queried this with the Host, they told me that it is fully advertised as being closed until 21 June and it was, essentially, my fault for not checking. However, their own listing (we booked via booking.com), stated open from 1 June. We queried with agents at booking.com who agreed that there was no information available that suggested the pool would be closed.
Disruptions: Related to the above, the property was unlivable during the day due to loud, unadvertised construction work happening directly on outside our balcony. The Host implied this was normal and to be expected as the pool was closed (except it should have been open). Works began at 8am with loud banging and drilling, and continued until about 5pm. We couldn't even open our curtains due to the presence of workmen, neverind open our doors and enjoy fresh air and sunlight. At night, sleep was disrupted due to loud anti-social shouting and music from the apartment next door (managed by the same Host). Despite several messages to try and resolve, the behaviour continued every night of our stay.
Pest Control: There was an active drain fly infestation inside the apartment making the time in the room more uncomfortable.
Host Management: The host completely failed to provide the support advertised. Their welcome pack states that live assistance is available between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, yet multiple urgent messages regarding these issues were entirely ignored while we were on-site. The host only broke their silence exactly two hours after we checked out to offer an apology, claiming they had not seen our messages.
Because the apartment was unusable during the day and lacked basic host support, we were forced to leave the property daily just to find a comfortable, relaxing space, all at additional, unplanned cost.
Both I, and booking.com reached out to the Host on several occasions to attempt to resolve the issues, but they have continued to ignore all attempts. They falsely advertise their facilities and I am going through the appropriate channels to seek a refund. I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

There is no pool access yet (May). And it would be awesome to have access directly out to the paseo with a key rather than walk around the front and the TV is mounted way too high for viewings! - but that’s the only criticism and still a 5 star stay!
