Firstly, we are sorry that your experience was not satisfactory.
We would like to clarify that your booking was made via an external platform and not directly with Minor Hotels. For this reason, the applicable terms and conditions — including the cancellation policy — are those set out at the time of booking, which in this case was a non-refundable prepayment rate.
Regarding your arrival, we understand the inconvenience caused by the traffic. However, as it was a Friday during rush hour in Madrid, travel time is a factor beyond the hotel’s control and therefore outside our influence.
We also regret that your experience at reception did not meet your expectations. However, we must point out that the request for a free cancellation was not feasible under the terms of your booking. Similarly, additional services, such as parking, are subject to availability and rates set and managed by the external company IBERPARK, and we were unable to grant your request for a free parking space.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to continue improving, and we hope to have the opportunity to offer you a better experience in the future.
