Excellent stay for a family trip for 5 days in Madrid
Enjoyed our stay in Madrid for 5 nights and had a great accommodation and lots of space to relax . Quiet and comfortable and close to Subway station like 3-4 minutes walk to Maranon.

Hyatt Residency Madrid Overview
Location: In Salamanca a popular area that is nearby Serrano (approx 20mins walk), variety of coffee shops whether on the go or specialized or even flavoured ones like what i enjoy, El Corte Ingles (the biggest one in Madrid). The only downside is when i first arrived in search for the entrance of the lobby and a portal, which was covered by the Mahara wine place unfortunately is the downside to it only. And that the building is not really surrounded by stores, everything is walking distance except for Gran Via stores which is around 40 mins walking but maybe 10 mins by car but all the luxury brands and high end stores are in Serrona which i love.
Atmosphere: the apartment is very cosy all the amenities are there and should you require more you can easily WhatsApp the reception, what I also liked about it, is that its very secure and safe, nobody can enter the premises if they don’t have the card as the apartment lobby hall door will be closed, and the receptionist may or may not be available.
Value: It is quite reasonable, so i was satisfied with the amount that i paid. I also requested a late check out as our flight was at night and they were so helpful and joyful with prompt response to give me this, i paid €90 for 3 hrs extra, honestly as we have in arabic عليهم بالعافيه well worth it.
Noise/Smell: Nothing from my end its a very quiet building.
For future, I would be looking into the apartments again because it’s the best situated for myself and my kids who are 11 and 13 that require privacy and space.
I didn’t take pictures but only took videos because of the beautiful minimalist place.

Nice hotel. Decent location. Room was clean. Bed moderately comfortable. Great amenities in the room. Quick response to an AC issue. Lobby/entry congested and not very welcoming. The terrace of our room was outstanding and actually why we chose this hotel. The view was meh. Otherwise, good basic stay.

Hyatt Regency Madrid Residences - Perfect Madrid Base for Families — Highly Recommend!
My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at the Hyatt Residences Madrid with our 4.5-year-old son, and I can say without hesitation this is the ideal hotel for families visiting the city.
The Room
We booked a two-bedroom apartment and the layout was perfect for traveling with a young child. The primary bedroom features a king bed with an en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom had a single bed and its own full bath. The kitchen and living area were spacious and open — plenty of room for a toddler to run around in the afternoon while we got ready for dinner. The real bonus? Being able to put our son to bed at night and still enjoy a quiet conversation and a glass of wine in the living room. That alone is worth the upgrade from a standard hotel room.
The Staff
Genuinely one of the friendliest and most attentive hotel teams we've encountered. We made an effort to speak Spanish throughout our stay and the staff always appreciated it, though everyone was equally comfortable in English. They went out of their way with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, handled daily housekeeping without us ever needing to ask, and called taxis for us on the spot — never waited more than a few minutes. Outstanding service from start to finish.
The Location
The property sits just over a mile from the heart of Madrid, which suits us perfectly since we love to explore on foot. A short walk brings you to a upscale shopping district and a lovely stretch of outdoor restaurants. The neighborhood felt extremely safe at all hours, and there's a fantastic restaurant right downstairs for nights when you don't want to venture far. One tip for families: we picked up an inexpensive stroller locally, which made it much easier to keep pace on longer walks with our little one in tow.
Bottom Line
The Hyatt Residences Madrid checked every box — space, comfort, location, and service. We'll absolutely be back on our next trip to Madrid.
